eTouch Digital Jukebox Skin (Quick Demo)

01:16
This is a skin that I was working on, but I have not had the time for skinning for a few months, the pub is always calling. I thought that I would do a quick demo of what I had done so far. http://www.freeboxjukebox.com/ The skin is designed to be used on a single screen and is accessible at any time so you always have the visualization or music video playing up top. I will eventually finish the skin, but the graphics need to be improved at some point.

Euromillions is rigged. The National Lottery Friday ‘EuroMillions’ draw results from 14th April 2017

01:17
I am posting this video as the euro millions is rigged and a scam. Tonight just proves that. If you look at the start of the video there is no boat passing when it is a long shot of the balls, then it pans in for a close up, and within two seconds suddenly the same boat is passing the window in the same location as every single week.

eTouch Jukebox : How to set up and some of the features

41:45
Firstly apologies for the length of this and also the bad sound quality but recorded sound with a £1 boom mic from poundland. If you are looking for a pub style jukebox eTouch is one of the better software packages around and comes with a skin editor to create your own. You can find more information at http://www.freeboxjukebox.com/

Thunderball Excel Number Checker

00:37
Bobby Zam I thought that I would do this video, to show you how I know how much I have won in real time as the draw is being made. The spreadsheet checks my tickets, if a number matches one of my tickets, then it turns red if it does not match then it stays the same colour. The amount won corresponds to the tickets, and the prize for that match, so just the Thunderball is £3, one plus the Thunderball is £5 etc. I can check hundreds or even thousands of tickets in real time.

eTouch skinning how to create a new skin

05:21
Just a very brief video and not intended as a full tutorial. I did some notes but I done them in subtitles so you will have to turn them on. Sorry this was very brief for a forum member and I couldn't find the captions until after I done the subtitles.

Another quickish demo showing the ability to show music videos on a single monitor, while still surfing the jukebox and being able to select tracks. I also show the admin screen which as I have said in previous posts on forum, you do not need to call every button as options. It is nicer and simpler just to say what the buttons do rather than appearance options, network options etc etc. Again it needs to be tidied up more, and I want to change most of the graphics or backgrounds as I was not happy with just a plain background. So I started with messing around with different backgrounds which then throws the graphics out, and makes you want to skin in a different way. http://www.freeboxjukebox.com/

Hyperspin Frontend Vertical

00:20
This is the basic Hyperspin skin but at full screen on a 32 inch vertical monitor. I am still looking for a theme that is for vertical monitors, so that I can upload games that are vertical I am also looking at pinball. The graphics is from an EVGA 610 GX card and sound is from an Xonar DX sound card via optical hook up to a LG 9.1 surround sound system. I also brought a Asus 710 graphics card for my HTPC which I wanted gaming with as well, however for some reason the sound from the 710 when using Hyperspin is very crackly to say the least when it first starts up. My next graphics card is on the horizon with a 780 ti for the arcade cabinet, which is a bit over kill but as I want the Nvidia Shield in the future, according to all benchmarks, it is still a very good graphics card and still beats most newer cards such as the GTX 960 in some areas.

A basic skin just to get the jukebox semi functional. My graphic skill is very low, so at the moment basic buttons and then replaced in time when I have followed some examples of how I want the graphics to look, however skinning on a 32 inch is a lot easier than skinning for a 19 inch 4:3 touch screen monitor as I have a lot more space and choice about what I do. At the moment 20 albums on main selection screen but that may change if the design changes.

SSD VS HDD : Boot Loading Time (Part 1) VERY ROUGH VIDEO!!!

01:19
Part 2 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MR6izS1z8J4 Hi Guys, As an experiment and out of interest, I have done two VERY ROUGH on the fly videos to show the boot loading and closing down times between an SSD and also a HDD disk drive. This computer is running the following : i3 530 2.93 ghz processor 4 gigs of ram (3.83 useable) On board graphics card 240 Gig SSD Scandisk hard drive Fresh Windows 7 64 bit install The other computer is : i5 (will upload the processor at some point or maybe never) 8 Gigs of ram Onboard video card 1.36 HDD Seagate No dodgy pirated material on this computer, and no surfing on dodgy websites, should be 99% virus free. The boot and shut down times were pretty much the same, although the arcade/jukebox had more software loading at the start but it still worked as fast as an SSD hard drive. Is SSD really worth buying at the moment? It can add an increase to an older system, but when you are doing a fresh install, rather than cloning, however so could a new HDD, however possibly different hardware specs can make a difference between an I3 and I5 and also RAM. So far I am not that impressed with SSD and was probably a waste of money in the long run, but we shall see. I have since installed this SSD hard drive into an old Pentium 4 PC that I brought cheap from eBay for my touch screen jukebox, and it does make an older computer much faster. It also makes the power supply do less work, I was using supplied hard drives and the fans was sounding like a hurricane, as soon as I put in the SSD it went to being a peaceful breeze. So yes for older computers it really does make a difference, but to modern computers I still do not know.

I have since installed the SSD into a Pentium 4 computer to which has made a dramatic change to the computer, so pretty much unless you are using a really old computer, then an SSD is reasonably a waste of money, compared to a decent HDD which does not have spyware or viruses on.

Chart Box Skin Demo Etouch Jukebox

03:45
Firstly I apologise for the poor quality of video, and video editing, however, I was expecting to be asleep at 3am, so I just had a play. Secondly, the skin is not 100% finished, fonts need changing, screens need finishing, the design might change in some places. The skin is designed for portrait mode and 768 x 1366 resolution. Skinning was on a 32-inch touch screen monitor and no other size monitors have been used. I am on a break till May 1st, so I am not sure when the skin will be 100% complete, but it should not be too long, he says.
