If only you guys were around to experience it. Going from the pixelated hell and poor framerate to smooth looking textures and super smooth framerate - Yes, the framerate was super smooth and it looked a lot better as well! .. Dropped my jaw right there. I bought a Matrox Mystique for my gaming needs because my friend got one, however he got a Voodoo cause I got one :p As you probably know, 3Dfx required a 2D card to function (except for the Banshee which I also owned), so the Mystique wasn't a complete waste - It actually worked flawless with my Voodoo card :) 3dfx will always have a place in my heart. It changed PC gaming completely. Miss you Glide! :( --------------------------------------- Thank you so much for checking out this video! I really do hope you enjoyed watching it :) Note that no benchmarks made it in this video, it's purely demo mode with sound!

You all know the mission, and what is at stake. I have come to trust each of you with my life -- but I have also heard murmurs of discontent. I share your concerns. We are trained for espionage; we would be legends, but the records are sealed. Glory in battle is not our way. Think of our heroes; the Silent Step, who defeated a nation with a single shot. Or the Ever Alert, who kept armies at bay with hidden facts. These giants do not seem to give us solace here, but they are not all that we are. Before the Network, there was the fleet. Before diplomacy, there were soldiers! Our influence stopped the Rachni, but before that, we held the line! Our influence stopped the Krogan, but before that, we held the line! Our influence will stop Saren; in the battle today, we will hold the line!

BUYER BEWARE -- Update Feb 17 2014; Before you run out and buy one of these drives, it has come to my attention that Kingston is now using asynchronous NAND instead of synchronous/toggle like you see in this video and online reviews. Synchronous NAND signal twice per cycle, asynchronous only signal once per cycle, making them much slower. Check your firmware: If you have 505xxxxx you are good to go, if you have firmware 506xxxxx you have one of the newer but much slower drives. That sucks and I highly recommend that you return it ASAP. I'm usually a huge Kingston fan and greatly enjoy their rock solid products, but this is downright shady business practices, especially if you don't tell anyone about the NAND downgrade. Reviews are out for the slightly older but much faster drives, so why bother right? Shame on you Kingston. Update March 29, 2014; AnandTech posted a more in-depth article about the issue here, including some shocking benchmarks http://www.anandtech.com/show/7763/an-update-to-kingston-ssdnow-v300-a-switch-to-slower-micron-nand ---------- Original message which still applies to this drive with firmware 505; Kingston once again delivers rock solid performance at a low price. This video was recorded when the drive was using a SATA-2 interface on a sub par PC. The V300 actually supports SATA-3 which makes it even faster. Wow, I'm shaking :)

Re-upload of a video that questioned Ubisoft's new DRM scheme. It was taken down quickly by Ubisoft due to "copyright" but that shit aint flying anymore. It was recorded using Fraps on a 1 core CPU. Yep you read that correctly :) Naturally this isn't as bad as it used to be, but man, trying to play any of their games back then was absolute misery.
