Learn to make Yummy Veg Kheema Masala - Easy To Make Vegetarian Maincourse Recipe By Ruchi Bharani One of the most popular vegetarian main-course dishes is veg kheema masala. It is nothing but minced vegetables cooked with onions, tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Check out Chef Ruchi Bharani's take on this popular kheema recipe. Ingredients: 3 medium onions, finely chopped 1/2 capsicum finely chopped 1 carrot steamed and finely chopped 100g French beans steamed and finely chopped 1/2 cup frozen peas 1 green chilli finely chopped 1 tomato finely chopped 1 1/2 cup tomato puree 3 tbsp cheese 100g grated paneer 1 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp ghee 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste coriander leaves salt to taste 1/2 tsp coriander and cumin seed powder Method: - In a pan, heat ghee. Add the onions and saute them well until they are brown in colour. - Add the ginger and garlic paste. - Add the finely chopped capsicum, frozen green peas and chopped green chillies, - Add the tomato puree and let it cook for at least 2 minutes. - Add the finely chopped tomatoes and let them cook until they are absolutely mushy. - Add the red chilli powder, coriander and cumin seed powder, garam masala and salt to taste. - Add little water and saute the ingredients well. - Add the chopped, steamed vegetables - French beans and carrots. - Add the grated paneer (cottage cheese) and then grate some cheese over it. Mix all the ingredients well. - Sprinkle some coriander leaves over the kheema masala and add little water. Mix well. - The kheema masala is ready to be served. Garnish it with some grated cheese and coriander leaves. Also squeeze some lime over it. Ingredients Hummus 2 cups soaked and boiled chickpeas 1 cup sesame seeds 1 cup olive oil 3-4 garlic pods Salt to taste Lemon juice Garnish 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Paprika Fresh coriander springs A few boiled chickpeas Falafel 1 cup soaked chick peas 1/2 cup parsley 1/4 cup coriander 1 medium onion mince 3 garlic pods 3/4 tbsp cumin Salt to taste 1/2 tsp soda bi carb Oil for frying Method - Blend together boiled and strained chickpeas, sesame seeds, olive oil, garlic, salt and lemon juice - Place the hummus in a bowl and pour some fine quality of olive oil and place it in refrigerator for an hour - Add chickpeas, parsley, coriander, chopped onions,garlic, cumin seeds, salt and soda bi carb and grind it together. - Mix the mixture properly - Heat oil on a medium flame and shape the mixture into a Pattie and fry them in the oil. Assemble it together and the Falafel & Hummus is ready to be served! This recipe is made up of few basic ingredients and gets cooked in no time. Ingredients: 1 packet Bread Tomatoes - Finely chopped 1 tbsp. Butter Capsicum - Finely chopped Onion- Finely chopped 50 gms Crumbled paneer 4 tbsp. Cheese Coriander leaves 1 tbsp. Oregano 2 1/2 tbsp. Tomato sauce Pepper Salt to taste Method: - Add some finely chopped capsicum, finely chopped tomato after removing its seeds and squeezing out some water from it, finely chopped onions, crumble some cottage cheese, some grated cheese, coriander leaves, pepper powder, dry oregano crushed in your hands and salt to taste and mix all the ingredients of the filling. - Then add 1 1/2 tbsp. tomato ketchup to the mixture and mix it well. - Take some soft butter, 1 1/2 tbsp. of tomato ketchup and some grated cheese and mix them well. - For preparing the disks, take some white bread slices and cut them with a sharp edged cutter. - Cut smaller rings out of the bread slices so that each bread slice can be used as a base with a ring on top. - Finely spread the butter spread on the bread slices, taking care of the edges so that the rings stick to the slice properly. - In the centre of the ring, add the cottage cheese filling till the level of the bread. - Place all the rings in a tray and before serving, place them in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for about 5-7 minutes, until the rings are golden-brown in colour. - Cheesy Disks are ready to be served. Soak 15-20 dried red chillies for 30 minutes in half cup of warm water (chillies to be without the stalk and seedless,if possible). Grind to a smooth paste in a grinder. Keeps well for 3 days refrigerated. Pour a tbsp refined oil so that the top doesn't dry. Method - In a pan heat the oil on high flame. Once the oil is smoking add garlic and stir it till it turn lightly golden. - Add ginger and stir fry on high flame. - Add celery sticks. - Add chilli paste and let it cook properly then add water and let it cook. - Add vinegar, salt to taste - Cover the sauce with a lid and let it cook for 15 minutes on a low flame - Schezwan Sauce is ready! Ingredients: Dry Spices 2 cloves 1tsp fennel Seeds 1 tsp Jeera 4 pepper corns 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds 2 Cardamoms Saute 2 onions ( cut lengthwise) 1 big Tomato ( chopped ) 1 tsp oil Gravy 1 capsicum ( diced) 1 baby onions (cubed) 1 tbsp butter 2 green Chillies ( cut lengthwise ) Salt 1 tsp Aamchur Powder 1 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp garlic paste 250 gms Paneer Method: - Roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, cloves, cardamoms, pepper corns in a heated pan for about a minute. - Open the cardamom pods and let the seeds remain in the mixture - Let the mixture cool - Heat some oil in a pan, add the onions to it and saute - Meanwhile grind the dry roasted seeds in a grinder to make a smooth powder - Once the onions turns brown, add the tomatoes and cook it till the tomatoes turn soft - Add salt and mix everything well - Put the content in the grinder with the powdered spices in it. - Add raw mango powder and grind it to make a smooth paste. - Add water if needed. - Put butter in a pan and add ginger and garlic paste to it - Mix well ginger and garlic before the butter melts - Add chillies and saute it with the paste - Add shelled onions and toss them and cook them for about 2 mins - Add diced capsicum to it and add the masala paste once the onions have turned translucent - Cook everything for a min and add water to it. - Stir it in and let it boil - Add the paneer cubes, toss them up and mix well everything. - Add salt and coriander leaves to it and mix well - The gravy dish is ready to be served hot with roti / paratha Director: Neha Sarkar Camera: Kawaldeep Singh Jangwal, Manjeet Katariya Editing: Pratik Jain Creative Head: Kavya Krishnaswamy Producer: Rajjat A. Ingredients:- 1 cup Toor Dal (Washed and soaked for 20 minutes and Boiled in 2 cups water and 1 tsp. salt) 1 tsp. turmeric powder First tempering: 1 tbsp. ghee ¼ tsp. asafoetida 1 tbsp. ginger garlic green chilli, crushed 1 onion, finely chopped 1 tsp. Mustard seeds 1 sprig curry leaves 1 tomato, finely chopped 1 tsp. red chilli powder 1 tsp. coriander powder Additional salt if required Second tempering:- 1 tbsp. ghee 1 tsp. cumin seeds 1 tsp. red chilli powder 10 curry leaves 3 red chillies, dried Coriander leaves Method:- - In a pressure cooker add the dal, turmeric powder, salt and water. Pressure cook until 7 whistles are blown. - In a pan heat ghee, mustard seeds, curry leaves, onions, salt and saute until the onions are golden brown. - Now add crushed ginger-garlic-green chilli, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, asafoetida and chopped tomatoes. Let it cook for 4-5 minutes. - Transfer the pressure cooked dal into this masala and mix properly and add water. - Add coriander leaves and turn the flame off. - In a Tadka Waati or small utensil, heat ghee and add cumin seeds, curry leaves, whole dried red chillies, red chilli powder and pour hot over the dal. - Mix thoroughly and serve hot! Keep whisking and bring it to a boil. Cook it until it's thick. - Once the sauce is thick, get it off the flame. - In another pan, heat butter. - Once the butter melts, add the chopped onion and let it cook for a few seconds. - Add the garlic paste, chopped capsicum and zucchini and let them cook for a few seconds. - Add the tomato pulp to the above ingredients and let it cook for atleast 7 - 8 minutes. - Add the ketchup, fresh basil leaves, dried oregano and red chilli flakes and stir well. - Add some water and stir. - Add the white sauce to the above ingredients and mix well. - Add the cheese and salt and mix well. - Add the boiled penne pasta to the sauce and stir well. - The delicious pasta is ready to be served. Ingredients Choice of vegetables 100 gms baby potatoes (par boiled and peeled) 100 gms mushrooms 100 gms okra 100 gms cauliflower florets 100 gms tendli (ivy gourd) 100 gms mixed peppers Marination 250 gms Dahi 1.5 tbsp roasted gram flour 1 tsp haldi pwd 2 tbsp red chilli pwd 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp ginger garlic paste Salt to taste 2 tbsp mustard oil 1 tsp crushed corriander seeds 1 tsp chaat masala powder Garnish Coriander leaves onions slices lemons halves Method Cut the vegetables into large chunks. For marination. In a bowl add 250 gms Dahi, 1.5 tbsp roasted gram flour, 1 tsp haldi powder, 2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, Salt to taste, 2 tbsp mustard oil, 1 tsp crushed corriander seeds, 1 tsp chaat masala powder and mix it well. Add the vegetables into the bowl, mix nicely and allow it to marinate for half an hour. Roast the vegetables on the skewers, cook for 20-30 mins at 200 degree Celsius in a preheated oven. Garnish with Coriander leaves, onions slices and lemons halves. Cumin seeds 3 red chillies dried 10 curry leaves Coriander leaves Method:- - Pressure cook the dal and rice by adding turmeric powder and salt. - In a pan heat vegetable oil and splutter mustard seeds in it. Add asafoetida followed by onions and chillies. - Once the onions turn translucent, add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 30-40 seconds. - Add tomatoes, red chilli powder and coriander powder cooking for a minute. - Whisk the cooked dal and rice nicely and add water to it. - Transfer the boiled dal and rice to the tempering and cook until it starts bubbling. - For the final tempering, melt ghee in a tempering vessel and add cumin seeds, dried red chillies and curry leaves. - Once it splutters pour this tempering on top of the khichdi. Ingredients 2 tbs Butter 2 tbs Plain Flour 2 Cups Milk 1 Bay Leaf Half Onion 2 cloves Salt Black Pepper Powder Nutmeg Powder Method - Heat butter in a pan and allow it to melt. - Add plain flour to this butter and with the help of a whisk, mix them well. - Allow it to cook for 2 mins. - Cook it on a low flame and make sure there are no lumps. - Add milk in two batches. - While the mixture is simmering, poke cloves along with bay leaves in to half an onion and immerse it in to the milk mixture (optional). - Cook the mixture for 7 to 8 mins. - Check on the consistency of the sauce as per your needs. - Remove the onion, bay leaf and cloves from the sauce once it is done. - Season it with salt, black pepper and nutmeg powder. Ingredients:- 150 gms cabbage cut thin lengthwise 150 gms red cabbage cut thin lengthwise 100 gms carrot julliennes 1 no. Green capsicum 50 gms bean sprouts ½ tsp crushed black pepper  1 tbsp dark soy sauce 1 tbsp garlic chopped 1 tbsp chilly sauce 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp sesame seeds 2-3 stalks springs onion Salt as required Method:- Cut the vegetables in juliennes as shown in our video How To Julienne Vegetables - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0wClCChoRQ Heat water in a saucepan and add salt to it. Once the water comes to a boil add the raw noodles and let them cook for 6-7 minutes. Strain the noodles and pour some vegetable oil on them. Take a wok and add some vegetable oil to it and heat till it starts smoking. Now add chopped garlic and fry till golden brown. Then add cabbage, carrots and capsicum tossing it frequently in the wok on a high flame. Add salt, soy sauce, vinegar, crushed black pepper, chilli sauce and give it a quick toss. Now add in the boiled noodles and bean sprouts and mix it well. Finally, add the spring onions and top it all off with sesame oil. Garnish with sesame seeds and your Hakka Noodles are ready to serve! The vegetarian rice recipe is very easy to cook and makes for great comfort food meal. The masoor pulav is healthy, flavorful and aromatic dish to cook up in a hurry. Ingredients: 2 cups - Long grain Rice 1cup- whole speouted Masoor 2 Onions, cut lengthwise 2 Tomatoes, chopped finely 1-2 no chillies 1 tbsp- Ginger, Garlic paste 1 cup mixed carrots, peas, haricot beans 1 tsp haldi 1 tbsp chilly powder 3 cloves 8 peppercorns 1 bay leaf 1 inch cinnamon stick 3 tbsp- Oil 1 tsp -Jeera Salt to taste Method: - Wash and soak masoor dal in cold water for 3 to 4 hours before you use it for the pulao. - Heat oil in a pan on a medium flame. - Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns, cumin seeds and onion to the oil. Add salt and mix them well. - Once the onion is golden brown, add ginger garlic paste and sauté for few seconds. - Add the drained masoor dal, carrots, beans and green peas to the mixture. - Add turmeric and red chilli powder along with green chillies. Give it a mix. - Add soaked long grain rice along with salt and mix well. - Add water along with tomatoes and allow it to cook till the water evaporates. - Once the water evaporates, cover it with a lid and allow it to cook for another 5 to 7 minutes. - Delicious masoor pulao is ready to be served. For Raita Onion Tomatoes Green Chillies Salt Curd - Mix onions, tomatoes, green chillies with salt and curd. - Keep the raita to chill and serve along with masoor pulao. Ingredients:- 3 tbsp. Garlic, crushed 2 large bunches of Spinach 2 tbsp. Ghee 1 tsp. Cumin Seeds ½ cup Onion, chopped 4 Green chillies, slit lengthwise 1 tbsp. Coriander seeds, crushed ¼ tsp. Turmeric Powder 1 tsp. Salt to taste 1 tbsp. Gram Flour 1 cup Water ½ tsp. Garam Masala Second Tempering:- 1 tbsp. Ghee ½ tsp. Cumin Seeds 2 whole red chillies 12 cloves of Garlic, sliced 1 tsp. Sesame Seeds Method:- - Blanche the spinach and divide it into 2 parts. - Grind the first part with a little water to a smooth paste and roughly chop the remaining. - Heat a ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, onion, coriander seeds, garlic and cook until the garlic and the onion are lightly golden in colour. - Add green chillies, gram flour, turmeric powder and chopped spinach. - Cook on a high flame for 30-40 seconds. - Add the blanched spinach puree, water, salt and mix well. - Cook on a high flame for 60-90 seconds adding garam masala powder. - In a tempering vessel heat ghee and add cumin seeds, red chillies, garlic and let it cook until garlic turns lightly golden brown in colour. Add sesame seeds and pour over the cooked Lehsui Palak. Mix well. Lasooni Palak is ready! Ingredients:- Vegetable diced and ready: 1/2 cup red carrots 1/2 cup potatoes diced 1/4 cup green peas 1/4 cup baby corns 1/2 cup cauliflower 1/2 cup button mushrooms 1/2 onion diced Masala 2 tbsp vegetable oil 2 tbsp butter 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 nos bay leaves 1/2 onion thinly sliced 1 cup tomato  1 tbsp ginger-garlic-green chilly crushed 1 cup tomato puree 1 tbsp chilly powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp garam masala 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi 1 cup water Salt as required Final topping 1 tbsp cooking cream 1 tbsp thick yoghurt 2 tbsp coriander leaves 2 tbsp mint leaves Garnish Coriander leaves and lemon wedge Method:- In a pan heat oil and add bay leaves, cumin seeds, sliced onions, salt and cook till the onions are golden brown. Add crushed ginger, garlic and green chillies and cook until the raw flavour goes away. Once done, add tomato puree, mix well and cook till it dries off completely. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, mixed garam masala, coriander powder and mix it well. Then add butter and some oil. Now add the onions, baby corns, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, green peas and give it a toss followed by water and salt. Cover with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes. Mix some fresh yoghurt, salt, cooking cream and mix it well. Add this mixture to the gravy and stir well. Cook on low flame and sprinkle dry fenugreek leaves and coriander leaves on top. Mix them well. - Add paneer to this mixture and coat it well. - In a pan, heat oil and saute the marinated paneer till golden brown. - Once paneer are cooked, keep it a side. Caster Sugar Lukewarm Water 350ml-400ml Water 1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil 1 tsp. Salt Mixture of Milk and Vegetable Oil Melted Butter Method:- 1. In a bowl take the wheat flour and make a well in it. To this add, instant dry yeast, caster sugar, lukewarm water and mix it well until you see small bubbles. 2. Now add more water and form a dough. Once the dough comes together, mix vegetable oil and salt and incorporate it in the dough properly. 3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for around 10 minutes. 4. Once the dough is ready, round it up as shown in the video and place it in a well-greased bowl. Cover the bowl with a damp towel and keep it aside for 45 minutes. 5. After the dough doubles in size take it out on lightly floured surface and knead it for a minute and round it up again and leave it on the board for another 15-20 minutes covered with a damp towel. 6. Then shape the dough as shown in a rectangular shape of around 7 inches long. 7. Place the log of bread, into a well-greased bread tin of size 8 inches x 4 inches. Place the tin in a plastic bag for 30 minutes and keep aside for the dough to rise. 8. Brush the top of the loaf with a mixture of milk and vegetable oil. 9. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for around 30 minutes. Check after 25 minutes. 10. Once the bread is out of the oven, brush melted butter on top. 11. Let it cool down to room temperature and slice it only after 2-3 hours. HAPPY COOKING!!! Cornstarch Method:- - In a bowl thoroughly mix the Manchurian balls ingredients and make marble sized balls of it. - Fry these balls until brown on a moderate flame for 3 minutes and on high flame for 1 minute. - In a wok heat oil and add ginger-garlic-green chilli and once it sizzles add half the quantity of vegetables to it. - Toss on a high flame for 30-40 seconds and add parboiled rice, salt, black pepper, dark soy, schezwan sauce and toss. - Now add spring greens, cooked noodles, give it a final toss and transfer this to a bowl. - In the same wok, heat oil on a high flame and add the reserved quantity of vegetables to it. - Add the schezwan sauce, water, salt, black pepper and stir. - Now add water to cornstarch and pour it in the gravy followed by the Manchurian balls keeping few aside for garnish. Take 1 Cup of Soya Chunks and Soak it in the hot water for 15 minutes. -In a cooker heat 1 and 1/2 Tbsp of Oil and add whole spices.( Bay Leaf, Cinamon sticks, Cloves and Cardamom ) -Add 1 Tbsp of Cumin seeds and one sliced Onion. Once the onion changes its colour add one Tbsp of grated Ginger, one slit green chilly, One tomato deseeded and finely chopped, half a cup of chopped French Beans, one chopped Carrot. -Add 1 cup of Soaked rice and 1/2 tsp of Garam Masala, 1/4 tsp of red Chilly powder, 1/2 tsp of coriander seeds and Cumin seeds powder, Salt to taste. Mix it well -Add 2 Tbsp of Yougurt and mix it. Now add soaked Soya Chunks. -Add Coriander leaves and add 2 cups of water. Cover it and cook for 15 minutes. -Delicious Soya Pulao is ready to serve. Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juIDOIltzmA Ingredients 250 gms Paneer cubes 50 gms yogurt 1 tbsp red chilli powder 1 tsp turmeric ½ no lemon juice 1 tbsp mustard oil Salt to taste Tikka Masala 2 tbsp oil 2 medium onions 3 large tomatoes 1 tsp chopped green chilly 1 tbsp red chilli powder 1 tsp turmeric ½ tsp Garam masala Garnish with springs of coriander Method - Slice paneer into cubes - For tikka marination add curd, red chilli powder, turmeric, juice of lemon, mustard oil and salt as required.Mix the ingredients properly. - Add the paneer cubes to the marination mix and coat them well and keep aside for 10 minutes. - In a pan heat some oil on moderate flame. - Add chopped onions and let them turn brown. Now add green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder,garam masala and salt. - Let the masala cook for 30-40 seconds and then add the chopped tomatoes. - Add water and let the whole mixture cook properly. - Cover it with the lid and allow it to cook for 8-10 minutes. - Grill the paneer cubes by heating up oil in the pan and placing the cubes over it. - Let the paneer cook from both the sides.Once done keep them aside for further use. - Add the left over marination paste into the masala. - Allow it to cook for a minute and then turn off the flame and allow it to cool down - Now grind the mixture into a fine paste - Add the masala paste into pan again add some water to it and cook it on moderate flame. - Once the masala start simmering add the paneer tikka cubes. - Give gentle stir and let it cook for over a minutes - Paneer Tikka Masala is ready to be served. Stir it. - Add the tomato puree - Add some garam masala -Let the gravy boil for 5 to 6 mins -Add coriander and cumin seed powder, sugar, coriander leaves, salt, and add water -Stir well. Cut the loaf in half inch slices. - Toast these slices in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 4 minutes. To make white sauce: - Heat butter in a pan. - Add the plain flour to it and whisk well. Cook until it changes colour. - Add the milk. Let it come to a boil and keep stirring until the milk becomes thick. - Add the cheese to the milk and let it melt. - The white sauce is ready. Get it off the flame and let it cool down for about 5 - 6 minutes. - One it cools down, add the boiled yellow corn, chopped capsicum, chopped onion, salt to taste, mixed herbs and pepper and mix all the ingredients well. - Spread a thick layer of the mix on the bread slices. Sprinkle some mixed herbs over the slices. - Put it in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 5-6 minutes. - The delicious Cheese Corn Toast is ready to be served. It's called the 'Stuffed Capsicum' or 'Bharva Shimla Mirch' which is not only a unique starter but it will also add a variety to your regular starter recipes. Ingredients: 3 capsicums 3 tbsp mozzarella cheese coriander leaves 1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp red chilli sauce 1/2 tsp sugar 1 boiled potato, chopped 100g paneer chopped 1 tomato chopped 1 green chilli, finely chopped 1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped Method: To Make the filling: - Heat oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onions and let them cook for a few seconds. - Add the finely chopped garlic, finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped and deseeded tomatoes. finely chopped boiled potatoes, finely chopped paneer, black olives, red chilli powder, red chilli sauce, sugar, dried oregano, chopped coriander leaves and salt and mix all the ingredients well. - The filling is ready. Put off the flame and let it cool down for five minutes. - Once the filling cools down, add the grated mozzarella and mix well. To make the stuffed capsicum: - Use medium-sized capsicums. Chop the capsicum into half and then deseed it to make nice cups of capsicum. - Fill the capsicum cups with the filling. The filling should be in the level of the capsicum. - Garnish it with grated mozzarella cheese. - Place the capsicums on a baking tray and bake them at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 - 15 minutes. Ingredients: 1 small potato ( Boiled ) 1/2 cup corn 1 onion ( Lengthwise ) 1 tsp. garlic paste 1 carrot ( Jullians ) letuce leaves mayonise tortillas 1/2 yellow capsicum 1/2 green capsicum grated cheddar 2 tomatoes ( Chopped & Deseeded ) 1 tbsp olive oil Salt & Pepper 3 tbsp. ketchup 1 tsp. pizza seasoning 1 tsp. red chilli flakes Method: To make the filling: - Heat the olive oil in a pan. - Add the thin sliced onions and cook them for few seconds. - Add the farglic paste along with coloured bell peppers and saute them nicely. - Add the carrots, boiled yellow corn and deseeded tomatoes and saute the vegetables for a couple of minutes. - Add the coarsely mashed potatoes to the above ingredients and saute. - Add crushed black pepper, Italian pizza seasoning, chilli flakes and ketchup to the above ingredients. - Take the vegetables off the flame and let them cool down completely in a bowl. - After the vegetables cool down, add salt to taste and mix it well. To make the wrap: - Slightly brush both sides of the tortilla and heat them in a warm pan. Cook them until you see light brown spots on the tortillas. - Take the tortilla off the heat and apply a thin layer of mayonnaise (optional) - Place a lettuce leaf and add the filling over it. - Grate some cheese on the top (optional) - Neatly wrap the tortilla and your delicious wrap is ready to serve. Learn How To Make Bhindi Masala Restaurant Style, a Spicy Okra Recipe popular in the Indian subcontinent. Ingredients:- 400 grams Bhindi (ends trimmed cut into 1-inch pieces) 3 no medium onions sliced 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tbsp ginger garlic and green chilly crushed 2 no chopped tomatoes 1 tbsp red chilly powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp amchur powder 1 tsp roasted gram flour 1 tbsp tamarind pulp 4 tbsp curd Fresh coriander 1 bay leaf ½ onion diced ½ tomato diced 3 tbsp oil divided Salt as required Water as required 1 tbsp cream 1 tbsp Kasuri methi 1 tbsp coriander freshly crushed Method:- In a pan heat some oil and shallow fry Okra in it. Heat oil in another pan and add onions and cumin seeds. Once the onions turn golden brown, add crushed ginger-garlic-green chilli, tomatoes and cook well. Lower the flame and add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masla powder, amchur powder, salt and mix it well. Add some water and let it all cook for 7-8 minutes. Turn the flame off and let the masala cool down to room temperature. Once the masala has cooled down grind it to a fine paste in a mixer/grinder by adding gram flour, coriander leaves, tamarind pulp and yoghurt. Heat oil in the same pan again and add bay leaves, onions, tomatoes, salt, the gravy paste, water and mix it well. Simmer on low flame for 5-6 minutes. Now add cooked Okra, fresh cream, Kasur Methi and give it a final mix. Let it simmer for 30-40 seconds and Bhindi Masala is ready to serve. Garnish with coriander seeds and fresh cream and serve hot!
