Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich

04:58
one of the all time greatest fast food items... #6 at Wendy's Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich Ingredients Buns Hot Sauce Lettuce Tomato 1 Egg Chicken Spices Flour (You may also want to have Saran Wrap for when you pound the chicken) - First take your chicken breasts and slice them in half. Then take your saran wrap and place it over the chicken and lightly pound it (this will tenderize the meat). In a bowl crack one egg, pour in your hot sauce of choice and whisk together. In another bowl combine flour, cayenne pepper powder, garlic powder, cracked black pepper, and salt. Now it's time to bread your chicken. Coat the chicken in the four mixture first, then the egg mixture, and back to the dry mix. Shake off excess flour and put the breaded chicken in the freezer for better results. Heat oil on medium fire and fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side, salt and drain on a paper towel. Now it's time to build your sandwich! Start with toasting your buns. Once toasted smear both buns with mayo, place your chicken on followed by lettuce, tomato, and your top bun. Beginners Guide To Fermentation: Kombucha Making

13:31
Welcome to the first ferment of this series! we are starting off strong with not only one of the simplest fermentations for beginners but one of the most rewarding. In this video you will learn how to source the Scobey and brew the liquid that it goes in. Part two will teach you the second fermentation stage which consist of bottling and flavoring. For all the Beginners out there... Fermenting project will change your life forever! Hey friends, if you are interested in any of the products used in this video you can go through the Amazon Affiliate links below to support our channel in a small way! INSTRUCTIONS for Gallon of Kombucha (My Updated Favorite Recipe) INGREDIENTS: 1 Scoby 16 cups filtered water 12 grams black tea (12 tea bags) 1 cups white sugar 1 cup natural kombucha -In your tea maker boil 8 cups of water. -When it begins to boil add your tea and let it sit off the boil for about 20 minutes. -Once your tea is brewed , transfer strained tea into a large glass container. -Add your sugar to the tea and stir until dissolved -Add in the rest of your water and let the temp settle to below 90 degrees -Add Scoby to your tea along with 1 cup of Kombucha or Starter Liquid Cover your container with clear kitchen towel and secure with a rubber-band. Place your container somewhere dark with a temperature of 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit if possible. I would suggest using a heat pad under the the container to get this temperature because the end results will be optimal! -Let it ferment for 7-10 days. Liquid should be a light golden brown color after it ferments -You can now enjoy a glass of your kombucha but a second fermentation is recommended for a better flavor. Check out part 2 for bottling and flavoring ☺ Organic Scoby for Kombucha Making - http://amzn.to/2cK4XLB Glass Bottles - http://amzn.to/2cjUx6l

"Bread Porn" the Perfect Sourdough Loaf

08:51
Make sure you download a free copy of my “A Slice of Heaven" Sourdough Ebook- https://bit.ly/2FTGUp9 Don't be overwhelmed if your first attempt does not come out nice like this one, I still screw up all the time! Sourdough bread baking is one of the trickiest crafts in the kitchen to master, and thats why I love it so much! -Recipe - 300 grams - whole wheat flower 300 grams - all purpose or bread flour 512 grams - water 63 grams - starter 10 grams salt Milling flour - I’m aware that most people don’t have their own flour mill, so this step is optional, and if you don’t find your self some decent whole wheat flour. If you do mill your own flour make sure you sift some of the bran out to create a high extraction flour and a product that is a little easier to work with Steps and timing - Adjust timing to your schedule! 3:00pm - combine flour with water and let it sit for at least 1 hour. Ideally you wait 4-5 hours but its not necessary. This step is called Autolyse which hydrates the flour and also develops some sugars in the flour for a better end result 3:00pm feed your starter equal parts (by weight) flour and water and let sit for 4-5 hours until active 7-8:00pm - add the starter to the dough and start your stretch and folds every thirty minutes for the first 2 hours of the bulk rise. On the second or 3rd stretch and fold, add your seasoning of choice to the dough. 10:00pm - stretch and folds are done, cover and let it bulk rise/ferment overnight. 7:00am - dough has risen, give it one last stretch and fold and remove it on the work surface to bench rest for 20-30 minutes. 7:30am - form loaf and place in some sort of proofing basket for 1-2 hours until it has risen (like in video). 8:30am- Preheat heavy pan with lid on at 500 degrees for 1 hour 9:30am - Flip loaf out on parchment paper, score the loaf and transfer to the pan. Put lid on and bake for 20 minutes 9:50am - take lid of, turn over down to 450 and bake uncovered for 20 more minutes let cool if possible (usually not…) and enjoy! What You Can Cook For The Price of McDonalds

10:22
I've had enough of people telling me that eating fast food is easier and cheaper than cooking yourself. The sole purpose of this video is to debunk that idea. I went to McDonald's, got three meals worth of food, then went to the market and spent the same amount of money and cooked a ton of delicious food. I ended up making enough food for 3-4 days and didn't even use up everything that I bought. Even if you eat off the dollar menu, cooking at home can save you some green. See below for what I made If you want to buy my Egg Ebook for only $5, click here: http://bit.ly/2qculwI What I Made on $16.43 1. French Fries 2. Beef Tacos 3. Pickles 4. Jalapeno Black Bean Spread 5. Spicy Tomato Sauce 6. Fried rice 7. Tacosagna 8. Veggie Omelette 9. Breakfast Tacos 10. Egg in a Hole Tortillas 11. Slaw 12. Rice What I also made but didn't show in video: 1. Crispy Potatoes 2. Banana Egg "pancakes" 3. Tortilla Chips 4. Taco Slaw Salad Recipes: Ingredients: Cooking Oil Salt & Pepper Potatoes Onions Ground Beef Canned Jalapenos Tomato Sauce Cucumbers Cabbage Carrots Lime Juice Vinegar Rice Black Beans Tortilla Wraps Eggs Scallions Instructions: In an oven tray, put oil and salt. Cut up potatoes into French fries and place them on the tray and mix it around with the oil and salt. Put it in the oven to bake at 425 degrees. In a pan fry up some diced onions and then add ground beef and cook it together with the onions. Mix up canned jalapenos (save a couple of jalapenos to roast later on) with a little bit of the pickled jalapenos juice and blend it with the tomato sauce and blend it all together in a blender to make into a spicy jalapeno tomato sauce. Dip your potato fries into the sauce and enjoy! Take left over pickled juice and add a little bit of water and add in some cucumbers and salt. Slice up some cabbage and add some roasted cut up carrots. Add lime juice and salt. You can add vinegar or seasoning if you’d like. Add a little bit of cabbage in a rice cooking pot and cook it with some rice to add flavor to the rice. Add in some roasted jalapenos into a cooking pot with some canned black beans and a little bit of cabbage. Grill your tortillas and add in all your ingredients: black beans, ground beef, cabbage, spicy jalapeno tomato sauce and cucumbers with your fries on the side and enjoy! Bangin’ Fried Rice In a wok pan, throw in some cabbage with your ground beef and in a cracked egg and cook all together and add in cooked rice. You can also add in scallions and soy sauce if you’d like. The BG Loaded Omelette In a pan, add in some chopped up carrots and potato fries and in your beaten eggs. Add in some ground beef and let it cook into an omelette and add in scallions. Enjoy! The Tacosagna In an oven tray, place some tin foil. Spread some spicy jalapeno tomato sauce on the tin foil and add your tortillas. On top of your tortillas add in ground beef. Add another layer of tortillas on top of ground beef and add black beans with a little cabbage and spicy tomato sauce. Add another layer of tortillas and spread spicy tomato sauce and put it to bake. Once it has baked, crack in some eggs and let it cook on top of tortilla. Add some salt and pepper. Enjoy! The Egg In a Tortilla Hole Take a tortilla and cut a hole in the center. Put tortilla in the frying pan with oil and crack the egg in so that the yolk is at the center where the hole is and let it cook for a little. Add in salt & pepper. Flip over gently and let the tortilla cook on the other side. Put tortillas in a plate and add in your black beans and cabbage with some spicy tomato sauce. Enjoy! music by Lakey Inspired and from the Youtube library.

4 Ingredient French Onion Soup - College Cooking

04:01
The first soup I ever fell in love with... Seriously though, you cant beat french onion Soup, with all its melty cheese goodness! But with just four ingredients you can make it at home without having to buy any fancy serving bowls, just make it in a mug! 4 Ingredient French Onion Soup Ingredients: Onions Baking Soda Salt Pepper Beef Stock Bread Provolone Cheese - Slice your onions thin and add to a pot with some oil and a pinch of baking soda. Sweat them out! You want a nice brown caramelization. Season with salt and pepper and add beef broth. Bring to a boil or simmer. Pour into a coffee mug and add pieces of bread. Stale bread works best because it's crispy and will absorb the broth while still holding it's shape and texture. Cover the mug with provolone cheese over lapping to cover all sides. Place in the broiler till cheese browns and bubbles. Remove and enjoy! music provided by Mike and Josh Jam Session Website - http://brothersgreen.com/ Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/brothersgreeneats Instagram - http://instagram.com/brothersgreen Twitter - https://twitter.com/BrothersGreenBK Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/BrothersGreenEats

McDonald's Chicken McNugget Clone Recipe

03:57
This recipe goes out to my younger self who loved me some Chicken McNuggets, man I used to crush a 20 piece with 3 packs of BBQ sauce. This is the closest clone recipe that I could recreate, there is something about McDonald's that you just can't ever replicate perfectly but this taste and feels just like the McNugget. Give it a try, so glorious! INGREDIENTS: • Ground chicken • 1 egg • Salt • Flour • Cornstarch • 1 beaten egg • 1-2 tbsp mustard • Mix your ground chicken, egg and salt until everything is well blended. • Shape your ground chicken into nugget shapes. • Mix equal parts flour and cornstarch and dredge your nuggets in the mixture. • Freeze the nuggets until solid. • Mix your beaten egg, mustard and 1 cup of your flour and cornstarch mixture and ½ a cup of water until it creates a thin batter. • Dip your frozen nuggets into the batter and fry in vegetable oil at 350 until cooked through and golden brown. You can either dig in or if you want extra crispy nuggets you can freeze the nuggets one more time and fry for a second time until extra crispy! GLORIOUS!! Making homemade fast food freaking rocks! So much better than buying it out there, and you won't crap your pants.

15 Mistakes Most Beginner Cooks Make

15:07
Make sure you download a free copy of my "A Slice of Heaven" Sourdough Ebook Download Link - https://bit.ly/2FTGUp9 When it comes to making incredible tasting food, the journey is never-ending. Every single time I get in the kitchen to cook, there is always something I can learn or improve on and all it really takes to do that is paying attention! Cooking is about being intuitive and this series will break down all the tips, skills and techniques that i've picked up on my 8 year journey of being intuitive in the kitchen! If you've been a Brothers Green subscriber for years, I'm sure many of these tips are already in your arsenal. but like I said before, I'm constantly learning so there's always some new cooking love to spread around! Original Music by "Blue Wednesday" https://soundcloud.com/bluewednesday, Recipe: Chicken and Veggie Stir-Fry Meat (chicken) Salt Seasoning Cooking Oil Mushrooms Onions Zucchini Spinach Chili Garlic Ginger Fermented Soy Sauce Sesame Oil Rice Vinegar Sesame Seeds Garnish Dry meat with a paper towel. A lot of chicken that come packaged come with extra liquid. This can be unfavorable when trying to fry up the chicken as the meat will not absorb the flavors if the meat is wet. Even out meat. Place the meat in a zip lock bag and pound it out until it is even. Coat with plenty of salt and seasoning. Many times foods will taste plain if it doesn’t have enough seasoning. Also, allow the seasoned meat to sit for at least 10 minutes. Place the seasoned meat in fridge so it can dry out and the salt will help it dry out too. This will enhance the flavors of the seasoning. Give it another pat dry if a little bit of liquid is released while letting it sit. Control the heat of your pan. There are a different range of heat settings (low, medium, high). You control the heat based on how the foods are cooking. Make sure you have enough oil or fat in the pan so things cook properly and don’t get burned. If you’re worried about consuming too much fat from oils it is suggested to get healthy cooking oil. Preheat pan before you add oil. If you add oil before heating up pan then the oil will degrade. Add chicken to the pan and let it cook at a medium-low heat. Let it cook for about 4 minutes until a white ring starts to form around the chicken. Flip it over and let it cook for a little less amount of time. In this case, for about 2-3 minutes on the other side. Pull meat early and wrap it up in some tin foil as it will cook a little more in the tin foil. Let the meat sit and do NOT waste the juice from the cooked meat. Letting the meat sit for a few minutes will allow the meat to absorb the juice. Save the meat juice for later on to add to your dish. Prep your veggies and aromatics. Wash and cut your veggies (mushrooms, onions, zucchini, and spinach) and have them ready for cooking. For the spinach, separate the leaves from the stems and chop up the stems and place with aromatics. Cut up the aromatics (chili, garlic, and ginger). Bonus tip: Always use a compost bowl. Create a plan. Think of what should be cooked during more time and what needs to be cooked with less time and cook based upon that order. Cook onions and mushrooms together in a pan. Wait a few minutes before throwing in your aromatics (aromatics will burn at a high temperature). After 5 minutes of that cooking you will add in your zucchini. Do NOT overcook your veggies! Your veggies are better eaten raw so you should not cook them all the way through. Cook until they are crunchy. Add salt. Let your food chill. This will give your veggies a little crunch. Add spinach into the pan and allow it to cook a little and then add in your chopped up chicken. Add in your chicken juice for better taste! Season your food. Add in the fermented soy sauce first. Then add very little sesame oil because the sesame oil is very strong and is flavor that you cannot take away. Lastly, add in your rice vinegar. Vinegar brings out the flavor in the foods. Make your dish look nice! Put it in a nice plate or bowl and you can garnish it with sesame seeds and scally wags. This will make your meal more enjoyable. Enjoy!! Practice and you will get better. Concentrate on what you’re doing and get over your fears and practice will make you a better cook.

Buffalo "Wing" Potatoes and Homemade Ranch(Simple and Cheap Recipe)

04:46
Buffalo Wing Potatoes Recipe Ingredients 1-2 Potatoes Cut into Cubes. Russett work best but any will do 2 Tablespoons of Butter 2-4 Tablespoons of Hot Sauce 1 teaspoon or so of Salt 1/2 teaspoon or so of Pepper 1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne 1-2 Teaspoons of Paprika Canola Oil Soak cut potatoes in water, this keeps them from browning after they are cut and if you are using a starchy potato it helps remove some of the starch so they fry better. The longer they soak the better but keep them in water until ready to cook. Pat potatoes dry on paper towel and heat up a non-stick pan with a few squirts of canola oil. Add potatoes once oil is hot and to them add salt, pepper, cayenne and paprika. Fry potatoes, turning as sides cook, until crispy and golden brown. Take potatoes out of oil, place on paper towel and then put on a plate. To a pan add butter over medium heat, let it help and add hot sauce of your voice as well as any extra spices you might like. Once melted, let it cook for a few minutes, stirring together, take off the pan, pour over potatoes, hit it with Blue Cheese or Ranch and enjoy!!!!! Homemade Ranch Recipe Ingredients 1 Cup of Mayo (try substituting with Sour Cream or Even Yogurt!) 2-3 Tablespoons White Vinegar 1-2 Teaspoons Dried Parsley or 1-2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley 1 Clove Minced Garlic or 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Garlic 1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper Website - http://brothersgreen.com/ Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/brothersgreeneats Instagram - http://instagram.com/brothersgreen Twitter - https://twitter.com/BrothersGreenBK Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/BrothersGreenEats

The Falafel Slider - Brothers Green: Eats! on MTV

05:17
-click here for recipe- after taking a trip to Queens to visit Freddy, the Falafel King! we came back to the loft to whip up our own crazy falafel creation! Check out http://brothersgreen.com/ for more recipes and social media links Falafel: 2 cups chickpeas 2 cloves garlic ½ red onion 1 cup roughly chopped parsley Juice of 1 lemon Salt and pepper ½ cup olive oil Crumbled feta cheese Canola or vegetable oil for frying 2 flatbreads Pickled Radishes: ¼ cup sugar Pinch of salt ¼ cup white vinegar ¼ cup water 4 radishes, thinly sliced Baba Ganoush: 1 eggplant 2 Tbsp. peanut butter 2 teaspoons sesame oil 1 Tbsp. sambal (chili paste) Juice of ½ lemon Pinch of salt and pepper Tomato Cucumber Salsa: ½ cup tomatoes, seeds removed 1 cucumber ½ cup parsley Pinch of salt and pepper White Sauce: ½ cup mayo 1 tablespoon dry parsley flakes 1 teaspoon white vinegar Pinch of salt and pepper Directions: Falafel: Soak chickpeas overnight in a large mason jar in 3 cups of water. Make sure you only fill the jar with chickpeas about halfway—they expand! Drain chickpeas and dry completely. In the bowl of a large food processor, add the dry, swollen chickpeas, garlic, onion, parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pulse until combined and mixture resembles a small, coarse crumb. While the food processor is running, add the olive oil. Get a 3" ring mold, or whatever you have around that will form little sliders, and pack the bottom with the chickpea mixture. Stuff with the feta cheese. Top with more of the chickpea mixture and press firmly. Gently remove the ring mold and voila! A feta-stuffed falafel slider patty ready to fry! Heat ½" of oil in medium sauté pan. Gently transfer falafel patties to the hot oil and fry on both sides until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and hit with a small pinch of salt. Cut out rounds of flatbread with the same size ring mold (or invert a mug on the flatbread and trace around the rim with a knife). Pan-fry until golden and toasty. Set aside. Pickled Radish: Add sugar, water and white vinegar to a microwave-safe dish and nuke until sugar is melted, about a minute. Add the thinly sliced radishes and pop in the fridge until cooled. (The mix can totally last in the fridge for a couple of weeks.) Baba Ganoush: Prick eggplant with fork several times. Cover in two layers of aluminum foil and cook over an open flame on medium heat until soft and mushy, about 45 minutes to an hour. If you don’t have a gas burner, just toss it in your oven at 375º until soft. Carefully remove mushy cooked eggplant from foil, scrape the flesh out of the skin with a spoon, and add to the bowl of a food processor. Add peanut butter, sesame oil, sambal, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and puree. Transfer to a bowl and set aside to cool. Tomato Cucumber Salsa: Chop all ingredients and transfer to a small bowl. White Sauce: Combine all in a zip bottle and shake until combined. (This sauce is amazing, you can use it on just about anything.) Assembly: Drain radishes on a paper towel. Spoon baba ganoush on half of the pita rounds. Top with radish, then crispy falafel, salsa, and another pita round. Zip with white sauce and stuff your face!

Second to last video of the series, again I filmed everything in a week but am a little slow to release, it has been such an exciting experience though and I am glad to see so many people getting excited about it and joining in! For anyone confused about my "lack" of meals, I ate at least three meals a day but I forgot to film a few meals here and there as I was busy and couldn't film every single meal that I made, but you got most of them, especially all of the good ones. Some times I would just munch on leftovers and dig into some slaw, no sense in showing that but trust me I ate more than enough food every single day. follow us! facebook: brothers green instagram and snapchat: brothersgreen twitter: brothersgreenbk
