This video is intended primarily for instructional purposes for the process of making diner style *pressed* burgers on a flat iron grill followed up by the cleanup process. DISCLAIMER: I am NOT by any means a professional cook...far from it...so no need to slam me in the comments section. Yes, I "murdered" the egg and yes, the bun was crap, I know! ;) This was just an impromptu lunch/video and not pre-planned at all. I'm just an average guy who loves comfort food and the process (trial and error) of making it. DESCRIPTION: Cooking a bacon & egg double cheeseburger (for one) on the Blackstone griddle. In the video, I show a note stating 80/20 chuck however I prefer 70/30, it's just hard to find at most supermarkets unless you specifically ask for it. Another nice touch I learned from "DeepFriedKing" is that you can add a little saved bacon grease to the beef, though I only do this on special occasions. Check out his videos for more on that "Gooey Arm Burger"...best looking burger ever. This was the last bun and it was a bit mashed, but the end result was still great! After all, this video was primarily for instructional purposes, not presentation. I normally use quality restaurant style buns. I hope the video helps those who like this style of burger. This is in Kharader, one of the oldest parts of Karachi where I grew up - and so did the founder of Pakistan (M Ali Jinah). At PKR16.00 (USD0.20) this is surely one of the cheapest burgers in the world. A lot of people in my family and friends, including me, believe this may also be the tastiest burger in the world. The patty is made of potato and vegetables, then dipped in battered egg and pan fried in vegetable oil. It's then put in a traditional bread with sauces made of yogurt and mint, and lots of onions. Mostly healthy stuff except for the oil, but not the most hygienic in the world :) I have seen this stall sell exactly the same burger since I was five (1970). As kids, we used to buy from the old man who died a few years ago, but his son has taken the family business to another level by taking up a small room behind the stall which can seat up to 10 people. There are countless numbers of varieties, cooking styles, and ingredients, but they all have one common ingredient. The Chinese cuisine uses different types of noodles. Chinese noodles refer to the noodles that are made from flour of wheat or rice. They are very different from the traditional Italian pasta. Chinese noodles are made from dough with salt, therefore there is no need to add more salt into the boiling water. The Chinese noodles do cook faster, usually in less than 5 minutes. Some Chinese noodles reach this stage in less than a minute, and are ready to be eaten. The process of wok-fried Chinese noodles is very difficult to categorize, because there are many different versions of the Chinese noodles. Each noodle version can have a different name. Fried noodles are very popular in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and other regions and communities where Chinese people work. The wok-fried noodles can also be prepared with a fired egg. Good Chinese restaurants prepare fresh noodles by hand. The Chinese Muslims from western China also eat fired noodles. Wheat noodles are typically prepared from flour, salt and water with addition of eggs or alkaline water. Rice and starch noodles made from rice flour, starch and water. The Chinese noodles can be made from rice flour or starch. Wheat noodles are more common in the north of China. Rice noodles are more popular the south of China. Wheat noodles are often made with eggs, alkaline water, arrowhead or tapioca. Wok-fried Noodles taste better, if they are made from fresh noodles. Usually the Chines noodles are boiled in water, and the cook fry them in the Chinese wok. The fried noodles are eaten with very hot sauces, gravy,meat, egg, or soup. Some varieties of rice noodles are made from rice slurry. Unlike western noodles, the Chinese noodles are made fresh and are eaten fresh. In Singapore, the wok-fried noodles are eaten with curry powder, bean sprouts, soy sauce and very hot pepper. They are eaten with a vegetarian mix of plans or accompanied by chicken meat, beef and shrimp. The friend noodles appear on the menu of almost all Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. The fried noodles with beef meat are called "Ho Fun". The most common method of cooking "Ho Fun" is in soup before the wok. The main advantage of the wok, is the very round shape of the wok. This form provides a small region of intense heat at the bottom of the wok. A relatively small amount of fuel is needed for this point. The shape of the Chinese wok also helps to move the food without any danger of overflow or spills. Traditional Chinese woks have two opposing grips. To make the Spanish omelette, peel the three potatoes and then cut them in half, then into even quarters. 2. Slice the potatoes so that they are approx. 1cm thick. If they are too thin, they will over cook and if they are too thick, they will undercook, so this part is very important! 3. Put a medium size deep fry pan on the stove at a low heat. Add a generous serve of extra virgin olive oil and leave to warm up. 4. Once the oil is nice and warm, add the slice potatoes in and leave to simmer for up to 5 minutes. 5. Peel the onion and slice it into thin strips then add these to the pan also. 6. Leave the potato and onion to cook through until they start to soften. 7. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk 5 eggs really well. 8. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and carefully move the mixture around using a spatula so that the egg gets through. 9. Keep moving the mixture for the Spanish omelette around sightly and ensure the edges are not stuck to the side of the pan by slightly sliding the spatula down and around he whole tortilla. 10. Leave it to cook for around 10 minutes. 11. Get a large, flat dish and lay it down over the top of the fry pan. Holding the fry pan in one hand and placing your hand flat on top of the bottom of the dish, flip the pan so the Spanish omelette falls on to the dish and the pan is empty. 12. Transfer the raw side if the Spanish omelette onto the pan and leave to cook for another 10 or so minutes (depending on your preference). E ora si mangia…Vincenzo’s Plate!!! Special Chinese Fried Rice is fast and easy to make. It's a tasty and delicious dish because you can add your favourite toppings, such as shrimp, scallops, Chinese sausage and bbq pork. A great way to cook day old rice. As a viewer suggested, put the rice in the fridge to dry the rice and to make to make the rice more chewy. The recipe is below: Special Chinese Fried Rice 4 to 5 cups cooked rice 1 egg 2 tablespoons sliced onions 1 tablespoon chopped ginger 1 tablespoon chopped garlic 2 tablespoons dice bbq pork 2 tablespoons sliced Chinese sausage 2 tablespoons shrimp 2 tablespoons scallops 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon dark soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon light soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chopped green onions 3 tablespoons cooking oil Preheat a wok or frying pan at medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon cooking oil. Crack the egg into a bowl and beat with a fork. Pour egg onto pan and cook for 30 seconds. Flip egg and cook for 30 seconds on other side. Remove egg from pan. Put another tablespoon of oil into pan. Add onions, ginger and garlic and stir fry for 15 seconds. Add bbq pork, Chinese sausage, shrimp and scallops into pan. Add other toppings if you like. Stir fry fry for 15 seconds. Add rice and continue to stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Add 1/4 cup of water if you want softer rice. Add sesame oil, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and stir fry for 1 minute. Cut egg into small pieces and put in pan. Add green onions. Stir fry for 30 seconds. Serve Special Fried Rice on a plate or in a dish. Enjoy!

Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice Servings: 4-6 INGREDIENTS 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed 1 cup teriyaki sauce 2 teaspoons oil ½ cup onion, diced 1 tablespoon garlic, minced ½ cup carrots, diced 1 cup broccoli florets 3 eggs, beaten 3 cups cooked brown rice 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon sesame oil Pepper, to taste PREPARATION 1. Marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce in the refrigerator for at least an hour. 2. In a wok or deep skillet, add the chicken in the teriyaki marinade and cook thoroughly over high heat. Set aside. 3. In the same pan, add the oil and cook onions, garlic, and carrots until onions are translucent. 4. Add broccoli and cook an additional 3-4 minutes. Push all of the cooked vegetables to the side of the pan. 5. Beat the eggs and pour into the cleared half of the pan. Scramble the eggs and mix with the rest of the vegetables. 6. Add rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper, and cooked chicken. Mix well and let the rice cook until slightly crispy. 7. Enjoy! Pour soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, brown sugar, water, and cornstarch over the strips of beef. Mix well, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour. 2. In a wok or deep skillet, cook the beef in the marinade thoroughly and set aside. 3. In the same pan, heat up the oil and cook onions, garlic, and broccoli until onions are translucent.
