Sprinkle fried onions, and add dissolved saffron strands in milk , then add ghee (optional), kewra water, rose water and put the lid on which is lined with sticky dough for dum. First cook it on high for first 4-5 minutes then reduce the flame to low, use a griddle under this for even heat transfer. And cook it for 25 to 30 min and switch off the flame. After 40 minutes this is ready for opening the seal of the lid. RT: http://bit.ly/XdAKn9 Facebook: http://on.fb.me/XCbKtS Naruto Ichiraku Ramen Ingredients: 1-2lbs pork cutlet Ginger 1 3/4 cup Mr Yoshida's Original Gourmet Marinade & Cooking Sauce 1/2 cup Lee Kum Kee Chicken Marinade 2-4 eggs Noodle Ingredients: 600g cake flour 100g all purpose flour 10g salt 6g baking soda 400g water Fresh cilantro Fresh green onions Fresh spinach Naruto Maki Preparing the Broth: Cut off pork strips from your pork cutlet. These should be thick and contain the fat and the meat of the pork. You should have bones and scraps left over. Put these in a pot, fill it with water and bring it to a boil. Scoop the scum off of the top and reduce the heat to a simmer and cover. You can simmer this broth for anywhere from 2-4 hours. When it's done, place the entire pot in the refrigerator overnight. Take the pot out after it has coagulated and scoop off the fat that has combined at the top and reheat. Preparing the pork: In a pot, add your 1 3/4 cup Mr Yoshida's Marinade and 1/2 cup Lee Kum Kee Chicken Marinade. Take your cut pork strips and dip them into the liquid making sure to coat both sides. Place pot on heat and bring to a boil, flipping the pork inside every now and then. Reduce to a simmer and cover. Pro tip! Place a toothpick in between the lid and the pot in order to let air escape so your pot does not boil over. Cook this for 2 hours or until the pork is completely cooked through. Remove the pork from the liquid and store. Hard boiled eggs: Hard boil 2-4 eggs. Remove the shells. In the same mixture as the pork preparation, place the eggs and let them soak for 2 hours. Remove afterwards and store. Hand Pulled Noodles: Combine the dry ingredients into a mixer and combine. Add in the water and mix on medium high (a 4 on our kitchenaid) for 12 minutes. You will know the consistency is ready when it can be pulled easily and does not tear. Watch videos below to see a more indepth explanation. From here either hand pull your noodles or cut them in a similar fashion to the Legend of Korra Water Tribe noodles. Cook them in boiling water for 8-10 minutes or until ready. Cook the spinach in boiling water for 10-15 seconds then remove and squeeze the water out. Chop into segments. Slice off the Naruto Maki. Slice off sections of your pork. Cut your eggs in half. GREEN BEANS ½ large ONION (sliced) 2 Tbsp GARLIC (finely chopped) 1 Tbsp GINGER (finely chopped) CHILI PEPPERS to taste (finely chopped) 1 Tbsp BUTTER 1 Tbsp OLIVE OIL 2-3 Tbsp SOY SAUCE ½ tsp SESAME OIL SALT and PEPPER to taste garnish w/ toasted SESAME SEEDS I'm not a fan of green beans, but this recipe is a quick way to make them edible. First, trim the green beans by "snapping" off the ends--fresh beans will snap easily, and if there is a fiborous, stringy seam along the bean, this can be pulled off as well. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil and add the green beans. Allow to cook 2-3 minutes, the longer the beans are in the water, the softer they will get (duh)...but why overcook them? They're already awful green beans, so you might as well get some nutrition out of them. Remove the beans from the hot water and place in an ice bath for 1 minute. This is called blanching--it stops the cooking process, keeps the beans crisp and maintains the bright, green color of the beans. After a minute, drain the beans. While the beans drain, heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Add sliced onion, garlic, ginger, and chili peppers and saute for 2 minutes. Add drained green beans and continue cooking another 2 minutes. To finish, add soy sauce and sesame oil and mix well, then remove skillet from the heat. That's it, man--serve 'em hot. Check out more from LearnToCook.com at http://learntocook.com/ BEEF STEW RECIPE: http://learntocook.com/beef/how-to-cook-beef-stew/ Ingredients: 1 lb. beef chuck ½ onion, medium 1/2 celery stalk ½ carrot, large 1 clove garlic 8 oz. red potatoes 6 ea. button mushrooms coarse salt ground black pepper 1.5 oz. flour 2 tbsp vegetable oil 2 cups beef stock 3 oz. stewed tomatoes 1 tsp worcestershire sauce Methods PREPARATION METHOD: 1. Trim the sinews off the meat and cut into 1 inch cubes 2. Peel and cut the onion into small dice 3. Wash the celery and cut into small dice 4. Wash, peel and rewash the carrots and cut into batonnet 5. Peel and crush the garlic. Chop finely 6. Wash, peel and rewash the potatoes and cut into medium dice 7. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and cut them in half COOKING METHOD: 1. Season the beef and lightly coat with flour 2. Heat the oil in a large sauce pan, put in the beef and brown on all sides. You may need to add the meat in stages otherwise the temperature may be too low and the meat will boil rather than fry. Remove and place in a bowl with a paper towel to absorb excess oil 3. Check the amount of oil in the sauce pan and if needed add more to sauté the onions. Add the potatoes and carrots and sauté until lightly golden. Add the celery, garlic and mushrooms and sauté briefly. Remove all ingredients and reserve in a bowl 4. Add ½ cup of the stock to the saucepan and deglaze to loosen all particles from the bottom of the pan 5. Add beef cubes back into the sauce pan, add the remaining stock, stewed tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to the boil and reduce to a low simmer, place a lid on top. Simmer for 30-45 minutes then check the meat for tenderness 6. Add the vegetables and stir, cover and simmer for another 20-30 minutes or until vegetables are al dente (firm to the bite) and beef cubes are fork tender 7. Start to Finish: 5 hours (includes cooling time) Prep Time: 30 minutes Servings: 16 Ingredients: Crust 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup of sugar 8 tablespoons butter, (1 stick) melted Filling 4 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened 1 1/4 cup sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 tablespoon lemon juice 5 eggs 2 tablespoons of flour Sour Cream Layer 1 pint of sour cream 1/3 cup of sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 tablespoon lemon juice Garnish (optional) Fresh sliced strawberries Strawberry sundae syrup Whipped cream -- See my video for how to make home made Whipped Cream Directions: HEAT oven to 325°F. In a bowl mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter, press onto bottom and slightly up the sides of 10-inch spring-form pan. Bake in oven for 10 minutes. While crust is baking, make the filling by beating the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and lemon with electric mixer until smooth and well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing at medium speed after each egg is added until all is blended making sure to scrape down the batter with a spatula. Add flour and mix until smooth. Remove crust from oven, but keep oven on and let the crust cool for 5-10 minutes then pour the filling over crust. Bake for about 50-55 minutes or until cake is cooked but has a slight giggle in the center. Remove from oven, again keeping oven on and set aside for 5-10 minutes so it cools slightly while you make the sour cream topping. In a small bowl mix the sour cream, sugar, vanilla and lemon. Spoon over the top of the cheesecake and spread evenly. Put cake back in oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and loosen cake from rim of pan with knife. Cool before refrigerating. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours or over night. Before serving, remove rim from pan and plate and slice cake. Garnish each slice with fresh strawberries and a drizzle of strawberry sundae syrup along with some whipped cream. Cooking Tips: Wrapping foil around the bottom of the pan helps to keep anything from dripping out while baking. It is best to store the cheesecake in the spring-form pan until ready to serve. The pan will protect it from getting bumped in the refrigerator. Slice cake using a hot, wet knife, wiping knife blade clean in between slices. Store leftover cheesecake in the refrigerator. Whipped Cream Cheese can be replaced for half of the recipe. I sometimes like to use 2 whipped and 2 regular 8 oz. packages. Other options for the crust: You can replace the Graham Crackers with Chocolate cookies or vanilla wafer, If making this recipe for Passover you can use crushed macaroons or crushed matzo for the crust in place of the Graham Crackers.
