How To Make Southern Style Soul Food Collard Greens With Ham Hocks Southern Collard Greens Recipe Boil 3 ham hocks in pot of water over low heat for approximately 2 hours or until meat falling off the bone tender Meanwhile chop up 1 onion, 1/4 red pepper, and 4 strips of bacon Chop and clean collard greens (as shown in the video) Soak them in salt water vinegar solution as shown in video (check the video to see how to do it) Rinse collard greens after soaking in solution for 1 hour Once Ham Hocks are done chop the meat up into small pieces Place a big pot over medium heat and add 3 tbs of oil to the pot. Add the sliced bacon onions and red pepper and stir Add 2 tbs of minced garlic and the ham hock bones and meat Allow this to fry for 5-10 minutes then add your collard greens and allow them to fry for 5 minutes or until they wilt (shrink) Add your 5-6 cups of water or broth Add your 2 boullion cubes.. add 4 if you didn't use broth Add season salt, sugar, pepper, garlic powder, crushed red peppers, and apple cider vinegar Stir well then cover with a top and allow this to cook for 45 minutes Southern style soul food collard greens

There are countless numbers of varieties, cooking styles, and ingredients, but they all have one common ingredient. The Chinese cuisine uses different types of noodles. Chinese noodles refer to the noodles that are made from flour of wheat or rice. They are very different from the traditional Italian pasta. Chinese noodles are made from dough with salt, therefore there is no need to add more salt into the boiling water. The Chinese noodles do cook faster, usually in less than 5 minutes. Some Chinese noodles reach this stage in less than a minute, and are ready to be eaten. The process of wok-fried Chinese noodles is very difficult to categorize, because there are many different versions of the Chinese noodles. Each noodle version can have a different name. Fried noodles are very popular in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and other regions and communities where Chinese people work. The wok-fried noodles can also be prepared with a fired egg. Good Chinese restaurants prepare fresh noodles by hand. The Chinese Muslims from western China also eat fired noodles. Wheat noodles are typically prepared from flour, salt and water with addition of eggs or alkaline water. Rice and starch noodles made from rice flour, starch and water. The Chinese noodles can be made from rice flour or starch. Wheat noodles are more common in the north of China. Rice noodles are more popular the south of China. Wheat noodles are often made with eggs, alkaline water, arrowhead or tapioca. Wok-fried Noodles taste better, if they are made from fresh noodles. Some varieties of rice noodles are made from rice slurry. Unlike western noodles, the Chinese noodles are made fresh and are eaten fresh. Ingredients Required: 1/2 kg Chicken 3 Tomatoes 4 average size Onion 3 -4 Chilies 7-8 strands of Coriander 4-5 strands of Mint 1 table spoon of turmeric 2 table spoon of Chicken Spice ( Chicken masala packets come in market, you can buy in any Indian grocery stores. 1 and 1/2 spoon of Garam masala ( buy in Indian Grocery story) 20-25 pieces of garlic One small piece of garlic 1 lemon 4-5 table spoon of cooking oil. how to cook chicken in Indian style Ingredients ready to cook chicken Procedure 1. Chop finely the onions, tomatoes. coriander, & mint finely as shown in above picture. 2. Squeeze the lemon over raw chicken meat you have bought and mash it up for 1 minute. Make sure that all the lemon is well mixed with meat so that while cleaning it will be so easy to remove all dirt, blood , fat and other surface particle. how to make Chicken in Indian style Chicken after cleaning with lemon juice. 3. Put the pan over the heat. And wait till the pan gets heated well. 4. Once you feel the heat on pan, put the 4-5 table spoon of cooking oil and wait for 30 second so that it gets well warmed. 5. Once you see the oil is warm, take your body little back and put all onions on the pan and stir it well and cover it for few minutes till it gets red in color but check it time to time. It can stick in bottom , stop it by checking time to time. 6. While the onion is red, now prepare the garlic, ginger and chilly paste in mixer. 7. If you see onion are red. put cumin seeds about 1 tsb and wait for 40-50 second till its get ripped. 8. Now put chicken into it and stir it very well so that oil will get wrapped well all over the chicken flesh. While stirring you see the chicken is swallowing gradually and turning white. Cover it and keep checking , don't let it stick at bottom. 9. After 2-3 times of cover and checking in gaps of 1 minutes, put now the paste you made it and also put the turmeric and stir all very well with chicken so that every thing will mixed up well . 10. Cover the chicken pan for 1-2 minutes but don't let the chicken or spices stick on bottom of pan. 11. Now put tomatoes and salt and stir all the ingredients very well. 12. Cover and check frequently 2-3 times in the gap of 30 second. Don't let it stick in bottom of the pan. 13. Once you see tomatoes are well mixed now time to put 2 tsb of chicken masala and 1 tsb of garam masala and then stire everything very well and cover it . 14. Keep covering and checking 3-4 times . 15. Put mint leaves and stir and cover up. 16. Put coriander leave after one minutes of putting mint but don't mix now. Cover it and turn off the heat. This is a typical & basic Japanese potato salad. Neatly preparing each ingredient is the key to make delicious potato salad. Take time and enjoy!!! --------------------------------- Japanese Potato Salad Difficulty: Easy Time: 30min Number of servings: 4 Ingredients: 300g (10.6oz.) potato 50g (1.8oz.) carrot 50g (1.8oz.) onion 50g (1.8oz.) cucumber 2 cooked sliced ham 1/2 cup whole kernel corn (canned) 1/2 tbsp. vinegar (rice or cereal) 4 tbsp. mayonnaise salt and pepper Directions: 1. Slice the onion, sprinkle with a bit of salt, then leave for 2~3 minutes until tender. Wash and drain well with paper towel. *in this way you can remove the bitter taste and unwanted smell of the onion. 2. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds (you can use a vegetable slicer if you have). Sprinkle with a bit of salt. When they become tender, drain well with paper towel. *removing extra water from cucumber will help not make the salad soggy. 3. Cut sliced ham into 1/2inch (1cm) square pieces. 4. Slice the potato into 1/2inch (1cm) half rounds. Place them in a pot, lightly wash (to remove extra starch), add water until covered, add 1/2 tsp. salt, then put on the heat. When it becomes to a boil, turn down to medium and cook for about 12 minutes. Check with a skewer, when they are done, drain well, transfer into a bowl and mash them with a fork while they are hot. Season with 1/2 tbsp. vinegar, salt and pepper. *these seasonings will make the potato tasty. 5. Slice the carrot into 0.1inch (3mm) quarter rounds. Cook in a boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain well. 6. (get your fan at amazon http://amzn.to/1q0Jbib ) - Place the duck in a preheated oven or barbecue which is set to indirect heat of 180 Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit Make sure you have a large dripping pan under your duck. - Cook the duck until the core reaches 70 Celsius or 160 Fahrenheit. - Meanwhile prepare the pancakes (steam them in a basked) follow the directions on the package. - Mix up the ingredients for the sauce - When the duckk reached the right temperature let it rest for 15 minutes outside the barbecue or oven. - Carve the crispy skin of the duck - Place the cucumbur, spring oninons, sauce and peking duck in the pancakes and enjoy. How to make Shahi Paneer Recipe | शाही पनीर | Easy Cook with Food Junction Cook along yummy Indian food subscribe now: http://bit.ly/Food-Junction Today we will make Shahi Paneer Add 4-5 tablespoons of ghee. This recipe is for 4-5 servings of Shahi Paneer Let it heat Add 4 chopped medium-sized red onions Let the onions become a little golden After 2 mins add peeled black and green cardamoms And mix it in with the onions Cover it for 3-4 mins Remove the lid from the frying pan and give it all a toss Cook the onions for a while without the lid on Once the onions are golden on all sides, add 5 medium- sized chopped tomatoes Then add a teaspoon of red chilli powder, zeera(cumin) powder, dhania(coriander) powder and some salt to taste(ideally 4 teaspoons) Mix the spices in Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on a low flame for 5-7 mins Remove the lid. The tomatoes and onions are just about cooked. Let it cook for another 4-5 mins with a lid on Turn the flame off, cool the mix a little an add the mix to a blender and blend the mix to a fine paste In another pot, add some ghee and add the paste in. Cover the pot and let it cook on slow flame for 4-5 mins. Remove the lid and add 4 tablespoons of tomato puree and mix it all in Cover the mix and let it cook for another 5 mins 5 mins later, the gravy is now ready. Add 400 grams of paneer cubes Cover the mix and let it cook for another 5 mins Remove the lid and add half a cup of fresh cream. Cover the mix and let it cook for another 5 mins on a slow flame. 5 mins later, remove the lid, give it a stir,Shahi Paneer is now ready to serve! Enjoy!
