Let it bloom for sometime. Add in the flour and knead with dough hook, using a stand mixer for 6 – 10 minutes. Spread some oil over the dough and on mixing bowl and let it rise, twice or thrice, about 30 minutes. For the sauce – in a pressure cooker, add in the veggies and salt. Cook for a few minutes. Remove the skin of tomatoes and red bell pepper and transfer all the veggies to a blender. Blend until smooth. Take out the sauce in a medium bowl; stir in paprika, sugar and basil leaves. Set aside. Punch the dough and take out over a floured surface; knead for a few minutes and divide. Spread over the baking pan and cover with kitchen towel and let it rise for a few minutes. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. MAKING Spread sauce over the prepared dough sheet and top with cheese and desired toppings. Bake for 20 minutes or until crust is browned. SERVING Slice the pizza and serve.

Shaskshuka - Eggs are poached in a delicious tomato sauce, very easy to prepare, healthy, comforting, flavorful, wonderful colors, definitely a must try recipe. It is usually served for breakfast, though I think it’s perfect for brunch on lazy weekends. This dish is best served right away after cooking alongside some crusty bread or pita. To print the recipe check the full recipe on my blog: http://www.homecookingadventure.com/recipes/shakshuka-eggs-in-tomato-sauce Ingredients Makes about 4-6 servings 1 tbsp olive oil 1 medium onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped 2 cans (14 oz.- 400g each) diced tomatoes 2 tbsp (30g) tomato paste 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp paprika chili flakes, to taste 1 tsp sugar salt and freshly ground black pepper 6 eggs fresh parsley/cilantro for garnish 1. Heat olive oil in a 12 inch (30cm) frying pan over medium heat.Add onion and cook for about 5 minutes until the onion begins to soften. Stir in garlic. 2. Add red bell pepper and continue to cook for 5-7 minutes over medium heat until softened 3. Stir in tomato paste and diced tomatoes and add all the spices and sugar. Season with salt and pepper and allow to simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until it starts to reduce. Adjust the seasonings according to your tastes, add more chili flakes for a spicier sauce or sugar for a sweeter one. 4. Crack the eggs over the tomato mixture, one in the middle and 5 around the edges of the pan. Cover the pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked. 5. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro and serve with crusty bread or pita. Enjoy! Click "Show More" (below) for a written recipe of Chef Uwe's classic Rouladen from the GermanDeli test kitchen. This entree serves 3 people (two Rouladen per person) You will need: 1. Six large Top Round Beef slices, cut or pounded until the slices are about 1/4" thick 2. One Large white or yellow onion, chopped 3. One cup diced bacon (double-smoked is ideal, but regular bacon can work, as well) 4. One quarter cup finely chopped fresh marjoram and/or parsley 5. Salt and pepper (freshly-ground is best) 6. About one half cup Dusseldorf-style German mustard (a hot variety is best, but mild will also work) 7. Six small German pickles 8. Several wooden toothpicks 9. One cup rough-chopped carrots 10. One cup rough-chopped celery 11. One cup rough-chopped onions 12. Four TBLS tomato paste 13. One cup red wine 14. About 32-ounces of beef stock (low sodium is best) 15. Cooking oil 16. About one half cup cornstarch 17. About one cup water Instructions: Heat oil in a pan and add one cup of chopped onion, stirring until the onions are translucent and slightly golden Add the chopped marjoram to the cooked onions and set in the refrigerator to cool In a separate pan fry the bacon until the pieces are slightly crispy, remove from oil, and cool Lay out the six 1/4"-inch beef top round slices onto a clean surface Season each slice of beef with salt and pepper Generously spread mustard onto the meat slices Spread the cooked and cooled bacon evenly on each slice Add a German pickle to the center of each slice Distribute the cooked and cooled fried onions onto each slice Roll up each slice, while turning the sides up and in to keep ingredients inside the roll Secure each beef roll with one or more toothpicks In a large pot brown each beef roll on all sides in hot oil Remove the Rouladen from the pot Add the rough-chopped onions, carrots, and celery to the meat drippings in the pot and stir Add the tomato paste "Deglaze" the pot with the red wine Add the beef stock to the pot of vegetables and bring to a boil Return the beef rolls to the pot Cover the pot and place into an oven set at 350 degrees Cook the beef, covered, for 1 1/2 hour After 1 1/2 hours remove the Rouladen from the pot You may use a traditional flour and butter "Roux" as a thickener , but Chef Uwe recommends thickening the sauce over med-high heat using a mixture of Cornstarch mixed with water (add the cornstarch/water mixture a little at a time until the sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon) Use a strainer to remove the carrots, celery, and onions so that you have a flavorful but smooth sauce to serve with or over the Rouladen The perfect sides include red cabbage and mashed potatoes or potato dumplings (or bread dumplings)

Cut the potatoes up into small cubes and place into a saucepan. Fill with cold water and place over medium-high heat to bring to the boil. Boil the potatoes for 20-30 minutes or until very tender and nearly falling apart. Drain the water using a colander and place the potatoes back into the saucepan. Keep on the heat until there is no longer large amounts of steam. Remove from the heat and start to mash the potatoes using a potato masher. Season with salt and pepper and gradually start adding the butter in small amounts. Make sure the butter is at room temperature so it doesn't bring down the temperature of the potatoes. Once all of the butter has been incorporated start to add the warm milk in small amounts until you are happy with the consistency. You may not need to use all of the milk. Check for seasoning and serve. On this episode of Bachelor on a Budget I show you how to cook ribs in the oven. This Oven Baked Ribs recipe is amazingly tasty and the best I've made. They're slow cooked to perfection and taste as if they've been smoked or slow cooked on the BBQ. Recipe: Two Large Racks of Ribs 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar 1 Teaspoon of Salt 1 Teaspoon of Pepper 1 Tablespoon Paprika 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder A few drops of liquid smoke (Less is More) 2 Cups of BBQ Sauce Preheat the oven to 300 Degrees. Start by removing the the excess fat by cutting it off and removing the membrane. To do this, take the blunt end of a knife and get under the membrane at one side. Once you got a bit of loose membrane, use a paper towel to peel it off. Make the Rub by mixing all spices in a bowl with liquid smoke. Rubs those ribs down, and get into all those crevices. Wrap the ribs in tin foil on the bottom and top, and throw in the oven for 2 hrs and 15 minutes. Take the ribs out and apply your favourite bbq sauce to both sides of the ribs. I added honey to my BBQ sauce. Put back in oven and Broil for 10-15 minutes watching that it doesn't burn. Make a huge salad to go with. Enjoy. Add the milk gradually, mixing well in between each addition to remove any lumps. Continue cooking the sauce for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and leave to cool for a few minutes. Season boiling water with salt and add the macaroni, cook according to package instructions. Start to add the cheese gradually to the sauce, reserving some for sprinkling over the top. Drain the macaroni and add to the sauce. Mix well and pour into a baking dish. Top with leftover cheese and place into a 200C or 400F oven for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden. Chef Ruchi Bharani brings you an easy, hassle-free and extremely delicious pasta recipe that calls for a variety of flavourful ingredients that blend beautifully in red and white sauce and taste delicious. Ingredients: 1 cup milk 100g Penne Pasta 2 tomatoes 1 tbsp red chilli flakes 1 tbsp garlic - chopped 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 capsicum - chopped 1 zcchini - chopped 1 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce few basil leaves 2 tbsp cheese 1/2 tsp dry oregano 1 tbsp fresh celery Salt to taste Method: - In a pan, heat butter. - Add the plain flour to it and cook for a few seconds. - Once it changes the colour slightly, add the milk. Keep whisking and bring it to a boil. Cook it until it's thick. - Once the sauce is thick, get it off the flame. - In another pan, heat butter. - Once the butter melts, add the chopped onion and let it cook for a few seconds. - Add the garlic paste, chopped capsicum and zucchini and let them cook for a few seconds. - Add the tomato pulp to the above ingredients and let it cook for atleast 7 - 8 minutes. - Add the ketchup, fresh basil leaves, dried oregano and red chilli flakes and stir well. - Add some water and stir. - Add the white sauce to the above ingredients and mix well. - Add the cheese and salt and mix well. - Add the boiled penne pasta to the sauce and stir well. - The delicious pasta is ready to be served. It’s a spicy Korean cucumber side dish called oi-muchim. If you have a nice seedless English cucumber, you can make this delicious banchan in just a few minutes. During my round the world Gapshida trip to meet my readers in 2011, I made this dish almost everywhere I went. Everybody loved it. Who wouldn’t like cold, fresh, crispy, seasoned cucumber? Each bite is succulent and wonderful! Oi means “cucumber” in English, and muchim means “mixed” or “seasoned,” so many people simply call this dish “seasoned cucumber”. Many Koreans have their own version of it, so you’ll find many variations from family to family. This one is mine, and I’ve been using it for a long time. It’s also one of the dishes in my cookbook. A major tip for this recipe is to make it and mix it just before serving, which will keep it crisp and fresh and prevent it from getting watery. It’s perfectly for a summertime BBQ – refreshing and just spicy enough to give you a little kick! Enjoy the recipe! Let me know if you make it! Fish tends to be one of those ingredients that people either really like or really hate. I believe that is partly due to a lack of GREAT fish recipes. Off of the top of my head, I can think of about 3 or 4 fish recipes that represent fish as an ingredient. While I love Fish & Chips, Steamed Trout, Smoked Salmon, and other common fish recipes, I believe that there hasn't been culinary creativity with fish in a long time. Looking to Southeast Asian countries you can find fish recipes that are completely different than what we might be used to eating in the West. Thai Crispy Fish with Tamarind Sauce is one such dish. The fish is salted, and fried so the outside is crispy but the inside is still meaty. The fish is then smothered with a thick tamarind sauce that gives this fish recipe a layer of depth rarely found in the West. I urge you to try this dish and see just how easy it is to make fish a delicious and popular dish that everyone will want more of. ========== ♥ Serving Info Prep. Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 25 minutes Total Time: 35 minutes Servings: 2 people ♥ Ingredients 1 medium sized fish of your choice 6 cloves garlic 6 red jalapeno peppers 1/4 yellow bell pepper 1 handful fresh cilantro 4 ounces tamarind 1 cup water 2 tablespoons fish sauce 2 tablespoons cooking oil 3 ounces palm sugar Oil for frying your fish ♥ Cooking Notes The one thing that is most commonly substituted in this recipe is the type of fish being used. I used a striped bass this time, but have often used red snapper or even tilapia. Also, I added red jalapenos to this recipe for a little Thai style heat, but if you don't do spicy, then substitute the red jalapenos for red bell peppers. Easy Thanksgiving turkey and Turkey Gravy recipe Tender Juicy Turkey recipe Defrost turkey... sit frozen turkey on kitchen counter for 3 days to completely defrost Remove turkey gizzards, heart, liver and neck from cavity Remove slime and cut excess fat Rinse turkey with salt and water Turkey Rub 2 TBS of Seasoning salt, 1 TBS garlic powder, 1 TBS onion powder, 1 TBS of sage, 1 tsp of thyme, 1 tsp of rosemary, 1 tsp of pepper Drizzle melted butter on both sides of turkey, rub well Sprinkle a generous amount of seasoning onto turkey Place in refrigerator and marinate for 3 days After 3 days..... chop up 1 onion and 2 green peppers, and place in cavity of turkey. PRE HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES Chop up 1 green pepper and onion into very small pieces Place 1 tbs of flour in an oven bag. Add chopped green peppers and onions. Place turkey in bag Tie a knot at the end of bag and cut 6 1/2 inch splits on top of bag Place in baking pan and bake until thermometer reads 160 degrees in thickest part of turkey Gravy Place turkey neck, liver, heart, and gizzards, in a small pot. Add 1 tb of butter. Add 3 cups of water and 2 cups of chicken broth/slurry (6 tbs of flour) Simmer over medium heat until gravy thickens Poor over turkey once done

This chicken tagine with olives and preserve lemons is a staple recipe in every Moroccan home :-) WRITTEN RECIPE: http://goo.gl/BO0IIY INGREDIENTS - 1.5 kg chicken (cut into pieces or just thighs) Ingredients for Chicken Marinade: - Saffron water: A large pinch of saffron + 1 cup of warm water. You can store up to 1 month in the fridge. We will use 1 teaspoon of saffron water. - The pulp of 1 large preserved lemon (or 2 small ones) - A handful of fresh cilantro and parsley - 2 large garlic cloves - 2 teaspoons ground paprika - 1 teaspoon ground ginger - 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin - 1/4 teaspoon of pepper - 2 tablespoons of olive oil Ingredients for the tagine: - 2 onions (grated) - 2 tablespoon olive oil - Pinch of salt and ground turmeric - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice - Handful of green olives - The skin of 1 preserve lemon (cut into quarters) STEPS: Preparing the ingredients 1- First, let’s prepare saffron water. Soak the saffron threads in some warm water for 10 minutes. This method boosts the saffron flavors and is economical as you can store this flavored water and use it when needed. 2- Quarter the preserved lemon. Separate the pulp from the skin. Finely chop the pulp and reserve the skin for later. 3- Finely chop the parsley and cilantro. 4- Grate the garlic cloves Marinating the chicken 5- Now we are ready, let’s make the charmoula! In a large bowl combine: the chopped parsley and cilantro, chopped preserved lemon pulp, garlic, ground paprika, ginger, cumin, pepper, saffron water, and olive oil. Mix well. 6- Place the chicken in the charmoula marinade and massage into the flesh. I am using only chicken tights, but you can use any other chicken parts. 7- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight. Setting the tagine 8- Peel and grate the onions. Finely chop the leftover onion pieces. 9- Drizzle olive oil in the bottom of the tagine and cover with the onions. 10- Sprinkle a little bit of salt and turmeric over the onions. 11- Add the chicken over the onion bed, and cover with any leftover charmoula. Cooking the tagine 12- When cooking in a traditional tagine over the stove, use a heat diffuser to avoid burning and cracking the bottom of the tagine. It’s a must! 13- On low-medium heat, place the diffuser first, then the tagine on top of it. Cover and cook for around 15-20 minutes until the onions and chicken release their juices and the liquids start simmering. 14- Then, reduce the heat to low, cover the tagine, and cook until the chicken is tender. This can take 1 hour or more, depending on the chicken parts and quality of your tagine. Very important – make sure that the heat is low. 15- Add the lemon juice and green olives to the sauce. 16- Top the chicken with the preserved lemon skins. 17- Taste your sauce and add salt if necessary – we wait until the end to add salt, because the preserved lemons in the charmoula are already salty! 18- Do not cover the tagine, and continue cooking for another 15 minutes or so, until the liquids have evaporated and the sauce has thickened. Serve immediately with crusty bread. Bon appetite!

1 pound dried pinto beans 1 large yellow onion, sliced 1-2 jalapeños, diced 1 ham hock (8 to 10 ounces) 1 1⁄2 tablespoons dried cilantro ½ tablespoon Red River Ranch Original Seasoning ½ tablespoon Mesquite Seasoning 1. Pour the beans into a large soup pot. Pour enough water over the beans until they are covered by about 2 - 3 inches. 2. Add the onion, jalapeño, ham hock, and cilantro. Cook over high heat until the mixture reaches a rolling boil, stirring occasionally. 3. Cover and boil hard for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. As soon as the beans are boiling, you may need to add more warm water to keep them slightly covered and throughout the cooking process. 4. Reduce the heat to medium. Stir in the spices. Cover and simmer for 11/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the beans soften. Season again to taste, if necessary.

Lemon and pepper flavoured baked chicken is a must try ! LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN Ingredients 2 boneless chicken breasts 1 lemon 2 teaspoons crushed black peppercorns ½ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves + to garnish Salt to taste 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons oil + for greasing A few wedges of lemon Method 1. Preheat oven to 180° C. 2. Put coriander leaves into a bowl. Grate lemon zest of half lemon into the bowl. Squeeze its juice into the bowl too. 3. Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, crushed black peppercorns and oil and mix well. 4. Slit the chicken breasts into half and add to the marinade, mix well and let it marinate for fifteen to twenty minutes. 5. Grease a baking tray and place the chicken breasts over it, cover the tray with an aluminium foil and bake in the preheated oven for ten to fifteen minutes. 6.
