A ridiculously simple ice cream recipe that is ridiculously delicious! This mango ice cream is done in a blitz (literally!) using only a blender and 3-4 simple ingredients. Trust me, you'll be amazed, as I was, at how good this ice cream is given how easy and quick it is to make! Now every time good sweet mango goes on sale I buy a whole bunch and freeze them just for this occasion! Just one note: mango makes up a very large proportion of this recipe so it's really important that you use good, ripe mango for this! Enjoy!

In India we mix hung yogurt... our version of greek yogurt... with mango pulp.. sugar.. a little milk if necessary... a pinch of cardamom powder... and we get a version of shrikhand... an indian sweet... this is called amrakhand.. aamra meaning mango...
What you are making is in indian terms.. mango shrikhand...
We don't add honey....
This is a really helpful video. I like how you've included helpful tips and why it's good to know or do for each part of the process, such as the type of mango, using the spoon/tamper to push it down while blending, keeping the pan cold, etc. There are a bunch of cooking videos that simply show you the steps. It makes me feel more confident about my food turning out like it should by being given these extra tips and notes. Thank you!
