Open Me~ 2 more weeks of school left for me, which means finals and projects for the rest of the school year. my cake was super....I have added extra 3 tbsp of flour 1 tsp of vanilla essence 3/4 tsp of baking powder 1/4 tsp of baking soda ...and my cake was nice and soft

Bitya Trejger maybe u over mixed cuz the egg whites r the only rising agent so if u take out all that air it doesn't rise as much

I understand you want to make it look as captivating as possible with that "3 ingredients" title. However, that sounds eggy, you should have added vanilla extract to the cake batter or any other flavor to prevent a smelly cake.

Made the cake and it's beautiful!! Really tasty too, my whole family loved it😍 Some ppl commented that it tasted a bit eggy but I think more ingredients could be added to get rid of the eggy taste. the eggs created the beautiful fluffy texture tho so I won't ever change it 😄

what if I add vanilla​ essence to egg white? I have already done that and the egg whites aren't as fluffy as they should be.

Amna Iqbal You can't add the vanilla essence to the whites directly, or else they won't whip up properly. The best way to do it would've been to fold it in at the end, after folding in the egg whites.
