Thank you..i'm going to try it your way. I hate the way restaurant put heavy cream in the saag
Manic Monkey (2 years ago)
You may believe you're showing "authentic" palak paneer... but my dear, sorry to break your proud little punjabi heart... sarso ka saag is VERY VERY VERY different from palak paneer. If you're going to get on a mighty mighty horse claiming authenticity at least get your dishes right!
mozheart (1 year ago)
You've not followed up your comment with anything substantial. So I'd rather take an "unauthentic" recipe over mighty monkey talk.

I usually make it like this only.. n its one of my favorites.. :)
Jasneet Matharu (2 years ago)
I tried it and ginger garlic gave a very good flavor to palak. We used to add makki ka aata (coarse corn flour ) instead of besan , that tastes great as well.
Suma Susan Dan (1 year ago)
tuned in for the first time to see your video...please remember that there are so many videos on for the same recipe. my point here is not how good or bad your recipe is.... but how you need to impress your viewers with your presentation. make it simple...eg do you really need to try to explain in length as to why why why we wash the spinach? it's obvious, isn't it?
shikha indal (2 years ago)

You added besan to the palak. Can you kindly tell me why did you add besan to it? Won't it give a foul smell if you add inroasted besan to it?
M K (3 years ago)
when u add besan paste to palak then you cook it further for 5-10 mintues .It gives a very nice nutty taste
Mriganka Sekhar Das (3 years ago)
You are telling the same case about the consistency a bit too much times. Besides, good recipe, and making it tonight. Thanks! A small suggestion, i know it's not authentic, but if u fry the paneer in the same ghee that remained from tampering then it adds great flavor to the paneer and tastes even better!

No cumin and no tomato. Definitely sounds genuine. Thank you for sharing. I wish peo0le kept traditional dishes authentic. So many websites with so many different palak paneer recipes. Its frustrating to find the authentic ones.

i dont like tomatoes in it lol and this is not palak its actually saag :) and I would rather blanch the spinach than boiling it.
