I tried this out today - used mushrooms and paneer - it turned out absolutely fantastic. The crushed cloves did the trick I think. Awesome work Naman.

Hi! I have a question and that is.. since, Biryani is famous for it’s spicy flavour but you have added sugar to not just marination but in the masalas too..May I know the logic behind adding sugar in this recipe?

I have to say this, i love to cook but since i am a beginner, my dishes wouldn't generally turn out to be perfect. But i tried only two of your dishes, paneer biryani and paneer butter masala dhaba style and both of them turned out to be perfect, simply perfect in my first attempt.
