Strawberry Rhubarb pie is my favorite treat of all time, to the point even growing up my mom or preferably my Aunt Sandy made one for me for my birthday every year since I was knew high to a grasshopper! My husband usually special orders one for me since we’ve been together going on 20 years YET this is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen!! He’s paid good money from store chain to high end places for my special day even when we couldn’t afford it and nothing has been as beautiful as this! I’ve always been afraid to try and make it myself in fear of ruining it.....oh how perfectly yummy this looks! Never wished so much to live on the west coast of the country more than I do right now!! Rhubarb is so underrated!!
Here, in Southern Chile, in the coldest places, like the Patagonia, you can see rhubarb growing up in the streets. My mother in law used to make rhubarb jam, pies, desserts, etc! This is the first time I hear about it in an English-speaking video! So awesome!
If only i could have Gemma by my side. I want to be her helper. She makes everything look too easy. I've watched many baking recipes but nothing beats how economic she is and a lot of her choice ingredients are available in stores. Many thanks to you Gemma i should tell you I'm a big fan of your fondant cake where I've used marshmallows.
