1/2 kg - Soaked Amla/Awla/ Gooseberries
1/2 cup - Oil
1tsp - mustard seeds
1/4 tsp - asafoetida
1 tbsp - Cracked mustard seeds
3 tbsp - red chili powder
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
Salt to taste
In a vessel of boiling water add amla and let it boil for 15-20 minutes.
Take the amla's out in a bowl of water.
Dee-seed the amla's.
In a wok, heat oil, add mustard seeds, asafoetida and add the amlas.
Add cracked mustard seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt.
Mix them well.
Cook it for more 5 minutes and then take it out in a bowl.
Our Instant Amla Pickle is ready.
