We're always on the run in the morning, today I'm sharing an Instant Rava Dosa Recipe with you which is homely, authentic and crispy using ingredients available at home. This is the quickest & easiest method to make Dosas, which is basically crispy South Indian crepes, made for breakfast. These dosas are made using Semolina or Suji, which is also known as cream of wheat. Ingredients: Rice flour - 1 cup Rava / Semolina - 1 cup Maida / Plain Flour - 4 tbsp Besan / Gram Flour - 3 tbsp Green chili - 2 Salt - 1 tsp Asafoetida / Hing - pinch Cumin Seeds / Jeera- 1 tsp Ginger - 1 inch, grated Water - 5-6 cups or more. Hi Chef. I followed this recipe to the T but on three different non stick pans, the dosa refused to relent. 😷 The batter looked exactly the way u have shown here. Still wondering what could have gone wrong?

Please help please help.... Few years ago I got some Indian food to go it was served with lots of sambar & other chutney I thank. It wasn't a regular dosa it was closer to this rava dosa... However it was a little bit thicker but not too thick it was definitely Browed, Circle in shape and folded over. And had a bunch of holes in it it was like a sponge it's soaked up the sambar well! It was soft and pliable but it wasn't mushy. It was close to this rava Dosa but you couldn't see through it is easily because it was a little bit thicker I would say about 2 -3 maybe 4 thickness of this. It seems to be cooked really well through though! I never found out what it was :(

you need to wait until it turns real crispy and leaves the sides.. takes about 5-7 mins..

I tired the recipe dont know what went wrong. After pouring into the pan they became thick and also there were no holes/spots like the one in your dosa.

Hey I tried but I wasn't able to make it a whole one piece... It was very soft and not crispy like u made it.... Can u tell me why i wasn't able to make it as proper as u... I used the same quantity as u used in Ur video

you need to make it in very high heat.. and wait until it cools a little.. just after you take out it is a little soft

Hey Yaman, I tried making rava dosa , followed the same recipe but ended up miserably ... After pouring it on tava , it showed those pores , but it was too soft to remove it from tava 😔 What was the problem ? please let me know. .
