Just saw your recipe this morning. Got right up and made these for breakfast. Delicious! I enjoyed them very much. Didn't have the full 1/3 c. honey, so I substituted about 1 T. Triple Sec, an orange liqueur. Thank you for the recipe. Wish I could post the pictures. They are perfect.
--Or if you have a (regular or giant sized) muffin tin, you could just line the cups and use that. Try the muffin liners that have foil inside and different colored paper outside.Or just line then with aluminum foil then use the foil to lift out the individual servings. Most people usually have aluminum foil on hand. Hope that helps.
No. Honey is pulled from frames using a honey extractor(a machine which spins). A mesh will remove the big chunks of beeswax, then the honey is left to sit. Once it sits, impurities, like beeswax, will float to the top and be skimmed off. The color of the honey depends on the flowers the bees have visited.
We certainly do not want bee bits to our honey. Even larvae is separated from honey frames by limiting what boxes the queen can go to.
Thanks for creating this awesome channel! I am always looking for simple recipes like this that actually taste good. You are literally the only person on the internet that understands the pain of laziness. I never want to get up and go to the store so your videos give me an excuse to make what I want, but with the simple ingredients I already have.
I tried this and I think I did something wrong :( The bottom was just liquid, the middle was foam, nothing was as it was supposed to be :( I used a big bowl instead of a ramekin and I forgot that I had to fold the stuff together, not whisk :( Maybe thats why it turned out wrong? :(
--Most of the cooking/food channels do. EVERYONE wants (and NEEDS) to eat. Some of us actually like to make the food we see on YouTube. And even folks that can't or don't like to cook will try his 2-ingredient or 3-ingredient recipes. You can't get any simpler or easier!! And from most of the comments on his videos from people that have made the food, most of it IS pretty delicious.
NOTE: He's making the video, so of course he's going to make that face and say it's good at the end of every video. He has his daughter in some videos, so I watch to see HER reaction after she tastes it. If she says "Mmmm Yum" or just keeps digging in, THEN you know it's good or at least a kid-friendly food, which is important for people cooking for kids as well as adults!!!
