Ok but sahi paneer is not a comfort food in the sense that it's very heavy, it's literally in its name it's royal paneer it's supposed to be heavy. I wouldn't be having it as comfort food if I want my weight to stay in a healthy range.
This is not Shahi paneer. This at it's best could be an altered version of paneer butter masala. Though bell peppers don't go in pbm; they go into Kadhai paneer. Shahi paneer is made of nuts paste, mostly cashew or almond and appearance is yellow creamy. This would taste great too, I am sure! But was a disappointment to bump into this while looking for Shahi paneer.
Okay, I get they said this is a quicker and "Tasty-fied" version of the dish that they make at home - and I won't deny it DOES look delicious - but is it actually Shahi Paneer? It looks to me more a variation on Paneer Makhani/Makhanwala. My understanding of Shahi Paneer is that there are no tomatoes in its base and it's enriched with dried fruits and nuts in a nod to Nawabi (Royal - hence the name as the lady said in the video) cuisine.
I'm happy to stand corrected, though.
Darkhound1116 it's just an indian subcontinent thing. People there have too high of an ego and too little patience and understanding that these are simplified recipies and that the original ones are too hectic to be made by almost everyone.
A Man Apart the sad part is that you have no argument and you wrongly insulted an entire country. But yeah, lol keep pointing a finger at someone else in hopes people won't notice what a fool you are. Does that really work for you ?
A Man Apart that's not what comfort food is. "Comfort food" is food associated with childhood and home cooking, food linked to a person, place or time. Not that you eat food to be comforted. SHM Right there is the problem, too many morons in the world.
Wow! I also love to have Shahi Paneer and that too Homemade. I love its Aroma when it is being cooked and really loves to eat it often and often. Nice recipe but I don't like red bell peppers in my shahi paneer.
