Made the lauki&chana dal yum. I knew that would be delish my kids who hate veg loved it. Very simple and quick!
Aubergine & potato tasty too, one of my kids hates Aubergine though being a good mum I forced him to eat it.
My son hates cauliflower I’ve never seen it grated before I’m making that one and the navratan korma next. Thank you!
Looks very tasty recipes but in west bengal onions and garlic dont come under pure vegeterian recipes, dont know the logic although, so its not permissible to cook in my home. Can you provide some veg recipes without onion and garlic?
Hi I like all your recipes. Now for the question, when you use the "Pressure Cooker" you say, cook for 2 or 4 or 6 whistles. What do you mean by "Whistles" ? Is that a time (that's what I think). Does a Whistle stand for 15 minutes or what. If one of you nice people could tell me, I thank you. By the way, you made a great video, thanks for all your hard work.
In pressure cooker cooking time depends on the pressure build inside it. And yes whistle also depends on time as cooker is widely used in India so every household has them, so with the whistle we know dal takes around 1 - 2 whistle and we don’t have to count time just listen the whistle and switch off. You can say whistleling sound is just a way to let you know food is cooked with how many whistles so that next time you do cooking you just keep track of whistles not time..
What’s Lauki coconut bangla here lol is it lau like long green squash? Looks like it please let me know. I’m looking for veg recipe inspiration raised on meat getting sick of it 🤢. Making the potato and aubergine today got some aubergine rotting 😉
All the recipes r excellent, I am a Brahmin south Indian, for everything we r dependent on pressure cooker because as we r working women it saves time, same way ur cooking is . Awesome , please do share more recipes.
