Share on Facebook: https://goo.gl/Sp7wkz Tweet about this: https://goo.gl/c36W6w Share on G+ : https://goo.gl/T6hh2I Ingredients For Chole: 250 gms Chickpea / Kabuli Chana (boiled) 3 Onions 2 Tomatoes 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds 1 tsp Pomegranate Seeds (Anar Dana) 1/4th tsp Hing 1 tbsp Mix Masala 1 tsp Garam Masala 3-4 tbsp Oil 7-8 Garlic Cloves 1/2 inch Ginger 2-3 Cinnamon sticks 2-3 Black pepper 2 Cloves 3 Bay Leaf Coriander Leaves Salt to taste Ingredients For Bhature: 1/2 Kg All Purpose Flour (Maida) 3 tbsp Curd 1/2 tsp Sugar 1/4th tsp Baking Powder 3 tbsp Oil Salt to taste Water Oil for frying Method: To Make Chole: - In a mixer grind add onions, tomatoes, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, pomegranate seeds, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves & water. Grind everything to a smooth paste. Keep this masala paste aside. - In a pan heat some oil. - Add bay leaf, hing, coriander leaves & mix masala. Give a stir. - Add the masala paste & water. Mix everything well. - Add the boiled chickpea, garam masala & salt. Mix well. - Let it everything simmer for 10 minutes. - Garnish with coriander leaves and serve! To Make Bhature: - In a large bowl add all purpose flour, curd, sugar, baking powder, salt & oil. Keep the bowl aside for 5 minutes to allow the ingredients to rise. - Then add water and make a soft dough. - Appy some oil to the dough. - Cover the dough & let it rest in the bowl for 30 minutes. - Make small rounds of the dough and roll into medium thin rounds. - Deep fry in hot oil on golden color. - Serve hot Bhatura with Chole. Toss the Paneer cubes. - With the help of a skewer grill the Paneer cubes on a low flame. To Make The Gravy - In a pan heat some oil & butter. - Add chopped onions, salt & ginger garlic paste. Saute everything well. - Add sugar & coriander leaves. Mix well. - Add the tomato puree & mix well. Let the gravy simmer for 5 minutes. - Add coriander seeds powder, cumin seeds powder, pav bhaji masala, kitchen king masala, sambhar masala, red chilli powder & garam masala. - Saute everything well. - Add little water & let the gravy simmer. - Add grilled Paneer cubes & mix well. - Let the gravy simmer for 2 minutes. - Garnish it with coriander leaves & serve hot. Share on Facebook: https://goo.gl/zVvw5m Tweet about this: https://goo.gl/OPSPQX Share on G+ : https://goo.gl/kvQx87 Ingredients: For Fried Onion: 4 Onions, cut lengthwise 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Sugar Oil for frying For Biryani: 1 Cup Rice 4 Onions 2 Tomatoes 10-12 Garlic Cloves 1/2 inch Ginger 1 Cup 3/4th Cooked Vegetables (Carrots, Cauli Flower, Green Peas, French Beans) 4-5 tbsp Oil 1 tbsp Mix Masala 1 tbsp Biryani Masala Coriander Leaves Salt to taste Water Method: To make fried onions: - In a bowl add chopped onions, salt & sugar. With your hands mix everything well. - After some time, squeeze all the water from the onions and fry them in hot oil till dark brown. - Transfer the fried onions on a tissue paper and let it cool down. To make Briyani: - In a mixer grinder add onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger & coriander leaves. Grind everything to a smooth paste. Masala for the biryani is ready. - In a large pan, heat some oil. Add the masala paste and saute it for some time. Cover it with a lid and let the masala cook for 5 minutes. - Then add 3/4th cooked vegetables, mix masala, biryani masala, salt & water. Mix everything well. Again cover it and let everything cook. - Then add boiled rice and layer it evenly on the pan. Also add the fried onion shreds and lemon juice. - Garnish it with coriander leaves. Cover the biryani for 10 minutes and let it steam on a low flame. - Vegetable Briyani is ready to serve. Grind everything to a smooth paste. The masala paste is ready. - In a pan, heat some oil and butter. - Add the masala paste, coriander leaves and saute everything for some time. Add little water if required. - Then add the paneer pieces and mix well. - Add some salt and mix everything well. - Cover it with a lid and let the gravy cook for 5-10 minutes. - Garnish it with coriander leaves and butter. Take 2 tomatoes, ½ inch ginger baton and 1green chili and make a paste. 2. Turn on the flame, heat a pan. Add 2 tsp oil. Once sufficiently hot, add ¼ tsp cumin seeds, ½ pinch of asafoetida, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder and sauté the masala. Keep flame low. Add tomato-ginger-green chili paste, followed ¼ tsp red chili powder. Stir well to roast masala. 3. Add ½ to ¾ cup of water. Prepare the gravy, add the peeled and boiled potatoes or add boiled arbi. Add some salt, garam masala and some green coriander, sabzi is ready. Add 1/3 tsp salt and ¼ tsp garam masala. Turn off the flame. Transfer the gravy to the bowl. Curd Gravy Whisked curd (फैंटा हुआ दही )- 1/2 cup Chickpea flour (बेसन ) - 1 tsp Oil (तेल) - 2 tsp Cumin seeds (जीरा) - 1/4 tsp Asafoetida (हींग )- Less than 1/2 pinch Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर ) - 1/4 tsp Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर)- 1/2 tsp Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर ) - 1/4 tsp Green chili (हरी मिर्च)- 2 (finely chopped) Salt (नमक) - 1/4 tsp or to taste Green coriander (हरा धनिया)- 2 to 3 (finely chopped) Direction : 1. Take ½ cup whisked curd and 1 tsp chickpea flour for making the gravy. Mix well until lumps dissolve. 2. Take a pan, add 2 tsp oil to it. When sufficiently hot add ¼ tsp cumin seeds, less than ½ pinch of asafoetida,¼ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, add ¼ tsp red chili powder and sauté the masala for a while. Keep flame low. Cook until it simmers. 3. Add ½ to ¾ cup of water. Keep stirring constantly until the gravy starts simmering again. Add 1 to 2 finely chopped green chilies, ¼ tsp salt or to taste. Simmer for 2 more minutes. Add some green coriander.Turn off the flame.Transfer the gravy to the bowl. Add pakoris to the gravy. Learn how to make Pithla - an authentic Maharashtrian main course recipe from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Pithla is a gram flour preparation that goes best with Bhakri. Ingredients: 3-4 tbsp Oil 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Green Chilli paste 1 & 1/2 Onion, chopped Coriander Leaves Salt to taste 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 tbsp Mix Masala 1 Cup Gram Flour Water Method: - In a pan heat some oil. - Add cumin seeds, ginger garlic green chilli paste, chopped onion, coriander leaves & salt. Saute everything well. - Add turmeric powder & mix masala. Mix everything well. - Add gram flour and mix well. - Add water and mix everything well. Make sure there are no lumps. - When the mixture thickens add little more water and mix well. Cover it with a lid and let the Pithla cook for 10 minutes. - Garnish it with coriander leaves & serve with Bhakri. Veg Handi is a classic treat for all the vegetarians wherein all the fresh veggies are tossed together to explore a delectable new taste. It is usually made in a handi (clay-pot) to enhance the flavors but you can also make it in a pan. Check out Ruchi's take on this popular vegetarian dish. Share on Facebook - http://goo.gl/j9qz9g Tweet about this - http://goo.gl/u7gh1a Share on g+ - http://goo.gl/V0M0uM Ingredients: (serves 6) For the mixture: 10-12 cashewnuts fresh coconut garlic cloves ginger green chillies 1 tsp garam masala 4 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder turmeric powder coriander and cumin seed powder coriander leaves - finely chopped 4 tbsp ghee 4 cups of water 2 big onions - finely chopped 250g cauliflower florets 100g french beans carrots 250g green peas 250g potatoes salt to taste Method: - In a bowl, add the onions, cashewnuts, coarse paste of fresh coconuts, garlic cloves, ginger and some green chillies, garam masala, kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander and cumin seed powder and finely chopped coriander leaves and mix all the ingredients well. - Boil water in a pan. - Once the water comes to a boil, add ghee and the mixture to it and give it a stir. - Add the freshly chopped veggies - cauliflower florets, french beans, carrots, green peas, potatoes and salt to taste and mix all the ingredients together. - Once the water comes to a boil again, lower the flame and cover it with a lid and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes. Make sure you do not cover the entire pan. Leave some space for the steam to evaporate. - Give it a stir from time to time. Add water if you feel the need. - Check on the vegetables and once they are done, let it cook for few minutes to let the water evaporate. Make sure you do not cover it with a lid this time. - Add some coriander leaves and give it a stir and turn off the flame. - The delicious Veg Handi is ready to be served. Stir well with a spatula. Add in paneer and coat well; cover with a lid and let it marinade for 30 – 60 minutes. MAKING For the gravy - In a pan heat oil, add in cumin seeds and let it crackle, followed by the carom seeds. Stir in the remaining turmeric powder, followed by the onion and cook for a few seconds. Season with salt, ginger paste, garlic paste and green chili paste. Stir well. Add in the bell pepper and let it cook for a minute. Add in the tomato puree and paste and stir well, pour some water if needed. Season with garam masala and cook for a few minutes and set aside. For the tawa paneer – In a flat pan, heat the oil and ghee on medium heat; turn the heat to low and place the paneer. Cook until golden brown from all sides. Add paneer back to the gravy and turn on the stove. Stir well and add the cream. Garnish with coriander leaves and turn off the stove. SERVING Serve with Roti and enjoy.

Ingredients:- For Sugar Syrup:- 2 cup Sugar 3½ cup Water Cardamom Powder, to taste For Gulab Jamun:- 8-9 Bread slices, sides cut off Milk, boil and set aside Almond peels for garnish Method:- - Heat water and sugar together and add cardamom powder to it to form a sugar syrup. - Grind the bread slices in a mixer/grinder. - Add milk to the ground bread and form a dough. - Make lemon-sized balls of the dough. - Heat oil in a wok and fry the dough balls in it until brown in colour. - Transfer the fried balls to the sugar syrup and turn the flame on and bring to a boil. - Turn the flame off and let the gulab jamuns rest in the sugar syrup for 5-6 hours. - Garnish with almond peels and serve. It is thin sweet, soft and melt in mouth sweet. For kaju katali to be perfect, the consistency of sugar syrup is the most important. Let’s learn to make kaju katali. You can like, comment and subscribe. Ingredients: • 1 cup Cashew nuts • 1/4 cup Milk powder • 3/4 cup Sugar • 1/4 cup Water • 2 tbsp Water • Rose essence • Wax paper • Sliver vark Method: • Take cashew nuts in a blender pot and blend them. • Just give it a pulse and stop. Do not blend continuously. • Continue this until you blend cashew nuts into powder. • Take a small holes sieve and strain the cashew powder through it once. So that any chunks of cashew if present will be removed. • Take the powder into a dish and add milk powder. You also can use dairy whitener. • Mix well and keep aside. • To make sugar syrup take sugar into a sauce pan and add water. • Mix well and dissolve the sugar. • When sugar dissolves and the syrup comes to boil, turn the heat to medium. • Continue to cook for 7-8 minutes more. • We want thick, 2 threaded syrup. • For checking consistency, take syrup into a spoon and let it cool down. • Check the consistency when the syrup cools down. • Turn off the gas. Add rose essence and mix well. • You also can add cardamom powder or keshar syrup too. • Add the cashew and milk powder into syrup and mix well. • Turn on the gas and cook for just another 2 more minutes. • Turn off the gas and spread the mixture well in the pan. • Give it a resting time of about 10 minutes. • After 10 minutes, take the mixture into a dish and knead it. • Do not knead more, just for about a minute or two to make it smooth. • Take wax paper and roll it into 3-4 cm thick disc. • Top it up with silver vark. You can skip the vark too. • Cut the kaju katali into diamond shape. Kaju katali is already. Tips: • Any nuts contain oil. If you blend continuously, heat will be generated and the nuts will begin to release oil. To avoid it, never blend nuts continuously. • If you check the consistency when the syrup is hot, you may go wrong in consistency. So never check the consistency when syrup is hot. • To check the consistency take some water into a katori. Drop cool syrup into the water. If the syrup settles like a drop at the bottom of the pan, the syrup is already. This is a popular starter of fried veg balls dipped in spicy, tangy sauce. You can have this as gravy to go as side dish with boodles or Chinese rice. Give it a try at home and write to me. Ingredients: • 2 cups Finely chopped Cabbage • 1/2 cup Grated Carrot • 1/2 cup Finely chopped Capsicum • 1 tsp Finely chopped Garlic • 1 tsp Finely chopped Ginger • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes • Spring Onion • 1/4 cup Maida / All purpose flour • 1/4 cup Corn flour • Salt to taste • 1/2 cup Cooked rice • 1 tbsp Oil • 1 tsp Finely chopped Garlic • 1 tsp Corn flour • Water • 1/2 cup Sliced Onion • 1 tsp Ginger • 2 Green chillies • Black pepper powder • 1 tsp Soya sauce • 1 tbsp Red chili sauce • 1 tsp Tomato ketchup • Salt to taste • 2~3 drops Vinegar Method: • In a bowl, take cabbage. • Add carrot, capsicum, garlic, ginger, black pepper powder, chili flakes an spring onion. • You can use veggies of your choice. • Mix everything well together. • Add maida, corn flour and mix well. • Add salt and mix well. • Do not add any water. Go on mixing and moisture released from veggies will be absorbed. • Mash cooked rice well and add. • Mix well and make dough of it. Do not use any water at all. • Make small balls from the dough. • Heat up oil in a pan and drop Manchurian balls in it. • Flip these over after frying for about 2-3 minutes. Fry until these turn nice brown. • Take these out into a dish. • Manchurian balls are already. • You can shallow fry the Manchurian balls in appe patra if you don’t want to deep fry these. • Take corn flour into a bowl and add water. • Mix well to make corn flour slurry and keep it aside. • Heat up oil in a pan. • Add garlic and for about 30-40 seconds. • Add sliced onion and fry it a little. • Add ginger and fry a little. • Add green chilies, black pepper powder, soya sauce, red chili sauce, tomato ketchup and salt. • Be careful while adding salt as all these sauces contain salt. • Mix well and add corn flour slurry and water. • Mix well and cook for about 2 minutes until rawness of corn flour is removed. • If you want to make gravy then add more corn flour slurry and more water. • Add a little vinegar to give the tangy taste and mix well. • You can add lemon juice instead of vinegar. • Add Manchurian balls and stir well. • Add spring onion and mix well. • Cook for 2-3 minutes more and turn off the gas. • Veg Manchurian is already. • Serve and garnish with spring onion. Tips: • Do not use grated cabbage as it releases more moisture. Use finely chopped cabbage only. • You can add finely chopped chilies instead of chili flakes in Manchurian balls mixture. • You can add red chili sauce, soya sauce in Manchurian balls mixture. • If you add water in Manchurian balls mixture then it will be thin and you will have to add more maida. • Cooked rice helps in making the Manchurian balls crispy and it gives nice texture to it. • You can add veggies of your chioce in Manchurian sauce too. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, chopped onions and mix everything well. Add salt and cover the mixture with a lid. - Slit the brinjals and keep them in water. - Add mix masala, jaggery, garam masala, grated coconut, coriander leaves and some water. Mix all the ingredients well and cover the mixture with a lid and let it cook for few minutes. - Fill the brinjals with coconut-coriander-green chillies-ginger-garlic mixture. Add the brinjals into the gravy. Cover it with lid and let it cook for 10-15 mins. Enjoy Bharli Vangi with chapati or bhakri. Share on Facebook: https://goo.gl/8aKf8q Tweet about this: https://goo.gl/KAM0mE Share on G+ : https://goo.gl/p1b4st Ingredients: For Marination 1/2 kg Boneless Chicken 1 Egg 4 tbsp Corn Flour 2 tbsp All Purpose Flour (Maida) 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic crush 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Salt to taste Oil for frying For Gravy 3 tbsp Oil 1 tsp Mustard Seeds 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 2-3 Green Chillies 7-8 Curry Leaves 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic crush 4 tbsp Curd 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp Garam Masala 1 tsp All Purpose Flour (Maida) Method: - In a large bowl marinate the boneless chicken pieces with egg, corn flour, all purpose flour, ginger garlic crush, red chilli powder, garam masala & salt. - Fry the chicken pieces in medium hot oil till golden brown color. - Keep the chicken pieces aside to cool down. - To make the gravy in a pan heat some oil. - Add mustard seed, cumin seeds, green chillies, curry leaves & ginger garlic crush. Saute everything well. - In the meanwhile, in a bowl take some curd. Add red chilli powder, garam masala, all purpose flour & salt. Mix well. - Add this curd mixture to the gravy and mix everything well. - Add the fried chicken pieces to the gravy and give a good stir. - Chicken 65 is ready to serve! So why not try something new with the king of fruits? Try this Mango Rice recipe at home and let us know in the comments below. Ingredients:- 4 tbsp - Oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 10-12 curry leaves 3 dry red chilies 1 tbsp Chana Dal 1 tbsp Urad Dal 1/2 tsp turmeric powder Chopped onions Coriander leaves Salt to taste 2 - Grated Raw Mango 4 cup cooked rice Method:- In a wok, heat some oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilies, Chana Dal, Urad Dal, and turmeric powder. Mix them well. Once the dals turn red in color add chopped onions, coriander leaves, and let the onions turn translucent. Add salt to taste and wait for the onions to soften. Add grated raw mango and mix well. Add cooked rice and mix well. Wait for it to cook and then take it out on a serving plate and garnish it with finely chopped raw mangoes and coriander. Your Raw Mango Rice is ready to eat. Procedure for the plain rice: If you take 4 cups rice, add 8 cups of water and salt to taste. Let the water boil and then add the washed rice to it. Let the rice cook till one boil, and then separate the water from the rice. Your rice is ready. It is a delicious crispy snack made from coriander and besan. Do try this easy and simple recipe and leave a comment for me it the comment box below. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe. Ingredients: • 1 bunch of Coriander leaves • 1 cup Besan / Chick pea flour • 1/4 cup Rice flour • 1 tbsp Green chili-Gralic paste • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds • 1 tsp White Sesame seeds • Salt to taste • 4 tbsp Water • 1/2 tsp Oil • Oil for frying Method: • Take a bunch of coriander and clean it properly. • Remove any yellow or rotten leaves. Separate the stalks and leaves. • Wash the coriander with water really good to remove any dirt or soil present in it is removed. • Spread the coriander on a towel or clean cloth and let it dry completely. • Add besan, rice flour, green chili-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and salt. • Mix everything well together without adding any water. • Add a very little water and make thick dough. • Apply a little oil and make the dough even. • Make rolls from the dough. You can make 3 rolls from 1 bunch coriander. • Take steamer and heat up about 1” water in it. • Take steamer pot and grease it really good with oil. • Put the kothimbir vadi rolls in it. Keep some space between two rolls as they puff up after steaming. • You can use cooker instead of steamer. • Heat up 1” water in the cooker. Put a pot and a dish on it. • You can steam kothimbir vadi in cooker too. • Steam the vadi on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes. • After steaming, take the vadi out and let it cool down. • Cut the rolls into pieces. • Heat up oil and drop vadi into it. Fry the vadi unril light golden from both sides and take them out. • You can shallow fry the vadi or can have the steamed vadi too. Tips: • The coriander should be dry. If any water is left in coriander more besan will be absorbed in it and the vadya won’t be crispy. So make sure to dry the coriander completely. • Rice flour absorbs excess moisture quickly and helps in making the vadi crispy. • If you add more water, more besan will be required and vadi will not be crispy. Mix well and let the cream melt. - Add dry fruits, cardamom powder and again mix well. Let it cook on a low flame for 5 mins. - In the meanwhile, take a small pan, add ghee and let it come to a boil. For Covering - In a bowl, add wheat flour, maida & salt. Add the hot ghee to the mixture and stir with a spoon. - Add water to the flour mixture & make a soft dough. - Meanwhile, take a frying pan and add oil for heating. - Take small portions of the dough and start rolling into soft small rotis. - Fill each roti with the coconut mixture. - Pinch the edges of the roti, bring it together & seal properly so that no oil goes in while frying. Similarly make all the modaks. - Fry the modaks till golden brown. Hello foodies Today I am posting very tasty and instant recipe...I got many request for chicken biryani easy recipe so today i am posting this easy and quick chicken biryani recipe... Twist is I am making in pressure cooker. Ingredients - 250-300 gm Chicken - 1cup basamati rice - 2 chopped onion - 1 small chopped tomato - 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp red chilli powder - 1 tbsp garam masala - 1 tbsp chicken masla -1/2 tbsp turmeric powder - coriander - 1/2 lemon slice - salt to taste - dry spice ( bay leaf, black pepper,star anise, clove) - 4-5 tbsp -3-4 tbsp curd How to make it: Marination 1) Add half quantity of all spices in chicken ( 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, garam masala, Chicken masala,1/4 tbsp turmeric powder, salt to taste) add curd and coriander 2) marinate for 1 hr 3) then wash basamati rice and soaked in water for 1 hr Chicken biryani 1) After 1 hr put pressure cooker on Heat 2)add 4-5 tbsp oil and add cumin seeds,all dry spices 3) then add chopped onion fry till golden brown 4) then add tomato and cook tomatoes for 2 min 5) after that add all remaining spices and cook for 5 min 6) then Lower down the flame and add marinated chicken.cook for 5 min cover with plate 7) then add 4-5 tbsp of water and again cook for 5 min with cover plate. 8) then add soaked rice and add 1.5 cups of water. 9) cover the lid and cook for 15 Min 10) after 15 Min turn off the gas and allow to cook. 11) Then open the lid and take out biryani in bowl. 12) here you go your delicious tasty chicken biryani is ready. 13) serve with raita
